went for my partners birthday to see Fishermans Friends, great movie, seen the adverts on television and thought we would see if, really good funny film, cinema is a good night out but can be expensive, if you can be bothered to drive a few miles more the cinema at Cheshire Oaks is a lot cheaper

Visit this cinema most weeks. Staff are always friendly and helpful, somethings can be a bit expensive but with an unlimited card it brings the price down a lot. Seats here are really comfortable and there is enough leg room (unlike Llandudno Junction).

Another great film at cineworld the only problem I have is other guests still use there phone while watching the film happens every time I go. And sometimes talk to each other. Not cineworld fault but there should be more action regarding phones I always switch mine off.

We live midway between the two cinemas. The Broughton site has much more to offer, not least it's less grubby than the Junction site, with better eateries to choose from. Great site including the massive IMAX screen.

The cinema from the lobby to the screens to the toilets is very clean and nicely presented. Staff also very friendly. Onsite Starbucks is a huge plus. Only downsides can be that the snack counter can move very slowly and lead to some long waits. On a few occasions the cinema has not given out promotional items for films that have been advertised with certain showings until they have been prompted. Other than that is is a great place to watch a movie! We have had an Unlimited Card for years now and often go multiple times a month. Recommended!

Although had some difficulty booking tickets on-line because their website kept going down, once this had been overcome, everything went well. It was a great venue, with good parking and a lovely small retail park was well worth a visit.
Entry to the cinema went like clockwork and turned out to be an excellent venue with attentive and welcoming staff.

What a lovely cinema. The entrance area was prestine and full of light with a nice coffee/waiting area. Ticket sales were efficient and easy either by machine or desk. The seats inside were extremely comfortable with lots of leg room. Would have had 5 but for the extras were very expensive and it was a bit too ncool in the theatre.

My son lives in Chester so I visited him and we went to see a film.
We’d paid extra to watch it in 3D. Unfortunately for the first 20 minutes the 3D element wasn’t working. I found a member of staff and told them about it, this was Ray.
What a lovely chap, and a credit to Cineworld.
He went off to find out what had happened, came back to me to keep me (and some others) updated and then organised a voucher at the end of the film as acknowledgement that we hadn’t had quite the experience we’d expected.
All of the staff were brilliant! From the lady who served us popcorn, the chap we bought our 3D glasses from, the lady who checked our tickets to Ray who couldn’t do enough for us (and was also funny).

Nice atmosphere and not too crowded. Liked the location for shops but all restaurants very busy.
If you are going on Saturday evening and want to eat would advise booking as every restaurant had minimum 40 minute wait except Prezzo

Watched Mary Poppins today. Film was great and as per usual the cinema and facilities were spotless. Comfy seats and fantastic for viewing. I had booked for 6 of us but 2 of my party dropped out. I asked if they could give the tickets to someone as to late to cancel. Staff were vety helpful and advised no problem and refunded my 2 seats which i wasnt expecting at all. Thank you

Is the IMAX screen on ground level or on the first floor (if there is one)?

If you go to an IMAX showing middle of the cinema is always best!! As with most cinema’s you are then perfectly placed to get the Stereo effect from the sound system!!

Hi, I have paid for a family ticket, the payment transfer had a glitch - 'connection lost' but eventually a page came up to show payment was made. However we have no receipt or email to confirm payment- I did phone the 087 no to query this, but on being informed it was 12p per minute -I put the phone down. I will take my chance turning up at the cinema!
But why not offer a free number!
And when you pay 'cheaper online' - it works out 2p less as there is an additional 70p booking fee per ticket! HOw generous!!!!!!
Not impressed.

I can't answer this as I don't work for cineworld. I had a problem when we booked with our unlimited tickets we went to the counter & it showed up & they did say there was a problem with the computers & apologised.
