Gorgeous trail next to the inlet. Fairly easy walking with sandy beach and picnic tables at the end. Washroom is located in a building at the top of a hill above the beach. Parking at Port Moody rec centre/library. Park does change its name to Old Orchard, so it can be confusing.

This park has host of activities for everyone ranging from a skateboard park, outdoor swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding , walking trail, children's park with splash pool and you can even bring your own jet ski. There are couple of eating joints and the ice cream parlour even has options for dogs ! There are lovely views of the Burrard Inlet. The Shoreline Trail is quite easy and flat and you can complete the entire 6 km trip in less than 2 hours.

Dogs on leash everywhere, plus an off leash pen makes it great for walking with them. Nearby taprooms often let dogs join you outside, and even the ice-cream place has chicken-cream for them.

Went last night. Got dinner from Smoke Dem Bones, belly rubber combo. $49. Ribs 8/10, were fal off the bone but could've used more sauce. Chicken 5/10, dry & over cooked. Brisket 6/10, average. Cornbread 9/10, yummy. Cheesy mac 2/10, basically Kraft Dinner. Value for what you get 4/10. maybe $20 worth of food for $49 😒

This park has plenty of activities including a children’s park, skateboard park, outdoor swimming pools, kayak rentals, walking trails, and boat launch. There’s even an off-leash park for your fur babies. I imagine it’s a beautiful area to sail your boat through the inlet for the day. You need is a day pass to launch your boat. A peaceful walk on a Fall day with a view of Burrard Inlet. It was my first time here and I enjoyed the walk through the Shoreline Trail. It’s an easy flat trail that is 6 km round trip. There are a few eateries around. We tried Pajo’s Fish and Chips and weren’t disappointed!

A nice getaway to learn more about our amazing local parks! Less than an hour from downtown Vancouver.

I took a short Trip from over near The Lougheed Mall Area to check this out after not visiting Port Moody for at least 6 years. The Rocky Point Boat Launch doesn't look like it's changed much since 1980.It along with The Park & Restaurants are very popular I liked the mellow vibe everywhere on The Pier,Park etc there's people everywhere enjoying it whether Picnicking, Sunbathing,Paddle Boarding, Canoeing, Kayaking or taking their Power Boat out.I couldn't find a Parking Spot anywhere.I parked around The Corner in what i thought was a legal Parking Spot.Alas when I came back I looked up and found that from a high up placed sign that's it's a Boat Launch Area.I got ticketed for $50 only if I pay it up by September otherwise it's $100.I thought that was a bit tricky & deceptive there was a Port Moody Cop rolling around there at the time in a Ford Escape. This is who probably gave me the Bylaw Ticket Infraction. I'm just letting others know to be careful about where you Park in The General Area.

Great place for a stroll no matter what time of a year. Take in the pier so you can take in the sites & sounds of the water front. Another option is to enjoying the park & swimming pool. Come early on a busy weekend as the free vehicle parking fills up early in the day. Fun for all ages!!

This time "people traffic" was much quieter due to the COVID restrictions. We love coming here to take in the sites & sounds of the nice park & boat launch. Takes some of the COVID stresses away!
