on a windless day this a great spot to chill and take in the southern facing scenery. Parking is reasonably close, there is a disabled spot next to the hall.

Great little urban hideout getaway just minutes from other more well-known beaches in Greater Vancouver area. Good for view, picnics but not really a swimming beach. Nice gentle hike around the inlet is recommended, see pictures posted!

This is a wonderful spot, off the beaten path. An easy walk from Rocky point, just 3km each way. You will be rewarded with sunshine, water views of Burrard Inlet, a great kids playground and sandy beach area to play and enjoy nature.

There was an angler out this week and although the kids were missing, the picnic tables were busy with people enjoying the fall sun.

There are washrooms to utilize and water for drinking. Limited parking but a delightful area to visit.

Old Orchard Park is a great place for a family picnic or just a place to find solidarity and enjoy the view.

There are several picnic tables, a covered eating area and a nice little beach. It is a little quieter than it's sister park across the inlet, Rocky Point.

There is a mini playground for the young'ns to play on.

This would be a nice little spot to picnic. It's along the way to the Old Mill site and right across from the beach.

I’m envious of the local residents and he easy access to trails and water. You can start at Old Orchard Park and walk all the way to Rocky Point. There’s plenty of street parking. Trails are designed for bikes and a separate trail for walking.
A mix of rocks and soft sand at the beach. Nice playground for the kids too.
A peaceful oasis in Port Moody.

A 45 minute easy walk from Rocky Point Park, beside residential area with a small white sand beach and community centre. Amazing views of the surrounding mountains, a place to relax and reflect.

I love this little park. Head out for a walk with your dog, from rocky point park....or drive along Ioco road and just park at the hall. Many routes will bring you to this quaint park. And on a summers day, mid-week, be prepared to enjoy the beach practically all to yourself.

My family and I have been going to Old Orchard Park for many years. It is an easy drive or walk from Rocky point park (takes about 30 mins) lovely hidden gem right on the inlet beach. Pack a lunch or just sit and enjoy the views...don't forget your camera!

My wife and I went to the Port Moody Town Centre and parked our car easily because there's lots of parking. Then, we brisk walked towards the park going north which was about 20 minutes from the Centre by the tennis courts. The trail was nice because you could see the inlet waters on the west side and the trees on the east side with a lot of fresh air. If you go to the opposite direction coming from the town centre, you will end up at the Rocky Point which is also about 20 minutes walk. Try it and you will like it for sure.
