We had hiked from Castiglione Falletto and our map said it was an easy walk with an Osteria in Annunziata open for lunch. The last steep climb to Annunziata was a slippery and flowing mud stream and we were very hot and exhausted when we got to the top. Also very annoyed to find the Osteria shut. We were given... More

Our lunch and wine tasting at these cellars was exceptional. The best we have enjoyed in a long while. Our hostess Alessia was very attentive and knowledgeable. Lunch was delicious and very relaxed. Highly recommend this Wine Cellar by the Marrone Family.

Good tasting of great wines in a family run agricola. We scheduled a tasting in the busy truffle season in afternoon. The experience began with a climb to a lovely terrace overlooking the hills and vineyards of Langhe. We then were directed to the tasting room where we were seated at table with grisini. We were tasting of 5 wines... More

However, the food was so delicious and the wines delightful: we stayed 6 hours and left happy, well fed, and well stocked with fine wine. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable and the whole day was a... More

The staff was patient and ALWAYS in a good mood. The entire family took part in our adventure and lent it a genuine family feel. I highly recommend a visit to experience it for... More

We had a lunch with 10 simple but great teasting local dishes accompanying the wines we tasted. You must make reservation for food serving. Do it if you have the time. It is a great experience both in taste and atmosphere. You will meet a passionate family with pride for their tradition. And you will taste fantastic wine to bring... More

A fourth generation ran winery and this one is all female. The three daughters run the family business taking it over from their mother or I should say in conjunction with their mother. They bring new expertise and enthusiasm to the business. Our wine waitress while not one of the daughters informed us that it's all female -- the staff,... More
