Spectacular scenery! Take the coastal road. Perfect views of the Atlantic and the coast. Winding road with incredible views. You can also take the main road. We took a hundred photos. Read the Historical marker. Enjoy!

Interesting place to bring kids. The tiny museum is pleasing with old lighthouse lamps, an ancient valve radio and maps of all the sea wrecks off the Costa de Morte - it's easy to see why it's called the Coast of Death! There is a little coffee shop and a fascinating machine, near the main entrance, which lets you stamp... More

Super place. If u are around u really have to visit this place. We can't describe it with words. It's one of the most beautiful things in Costa da Morte.

Nearby Cabo Vilan we enjoyed a stunning ocean view. Very large waves breaking on rocks emerging amidst the bay. Big splashes and foam. We were there under a rain Storm enjoying such a powerfull scenery that we did not bother being soaked. Probably one of the most impressive spots around.

A wild and remote coast, pounding seas and deserted beaches accessed by unmade roads. Everything you expect of Galicia, but never too far from 'civilisation'. Several very good walks and (mountain) bike rides all around this rugged natural park. Camarinas nearby, is a working fishing port with the range of very good seafood cafes and restaurants you come to take... More

Cabo Vilan or Cabo Villano host one of the most beatiful lighthouses on the Spanish coast. It was built at the end of XIX for helping English Sailors to avoid the dangerous Costa da Morte. The building, the lighthouse, the views, the sea colours, the nearby Englishmen Cementery, the sourrounding beaches... makes the place marvelous, special, misterious, peaceless and beatiful.... On a clear day, the views are amazing. The lighthouse itself is also interesting to visit, with an indoor patio, cafe and exhibition.

The lighthouse in Cabo Vilan is for me the most beautiful of all Galicia and probably from Spain. The view of Cabo Vilan and its lighthouse is spectacular when you approach by the scenery road boarding the coast from the English Cemetery (see directions below). The present lighthouse was built in 1896. It elevates about 105 meters (345 ft) above... More
