Epidaurus Amphitheatre was my Top 3 attractions in Greece. I visited the Epidaurus Museum before I went on to see the magnificient amphitheatre and it is definitely an eye-opener! Beautifully astounding.

The site is extremely well preserved and from the top of the amphitheater, commanding countryside views can he had. If your timing is right and you arrive between the busloads of tourists, you’ll have the chance to make your singing debut on the stage. What...More

We came to Greece for 5 days, and one of them we spent visiting Mycenae and Epidavros. The theater was just amazing and filled us with totally unexpected awe. It just pops up from the trees out of nowhere and is grand!

It's an incredible example of ancient architecture in a beautiful setting. It's an easy public bus trip from Nafplio. The history is fascinating.

You see photos and it look great, but the experience of standing in the ancient amphitheatre is mind-blowing. Awe-inspiring. The acoustics are truly fantastic. The archaeological site is also fantastic.

Go to the cheap seats and just stair out at this wonder. The beautiful hills are the background for what have been an incredible venue so long ago. Unlike many archaeological sites in Greece, this place is still intact.

We didn't hire a guide and enjoyed it very much. We travelled there from Nafplio by public bus. However, if you'd like more in depth information, I believe it's best to go with a tour from Nafplio or Athens. There were no... More
