First of all, Greg is such an interesting guy! Very knowledgeable about marine life but also loves to have meaningful conversations on your way out to the dive site. The prep process was smooth and easy and I felt at ease the second we were...More

This is my all time favorite cruise excursion ever, bar none. Actually it ruined me for traditional snorkeling, I won't bother anymore.More

Thanks Jiminy for the 5 star review and your affirmation that this is your all time favorite excursion. Snorkeling still has its advantages as you can do it cheaply in many places. You are also doing your adventure, so there is inherent value in that...More

My twin sister and I booked helmet diving for our 50th Birthday while on the Norwegian Breakaway to Bermuda (June 4-11), We booked directly through Hartley's not the cruise ship. This was a one of a kind experience for our family! Everyone enjoyed this unique...More

We booked this excursion based on the excellent reviews here & having friends who did it over 30 years ago & raved about it. I opted not to do it 30 years ago because I was apprehensive about the helmet, etc. I am a good...More

Thanks Nancyalee, for taking the time to compose such a thoughtful and balanced review. The water is now over 80 so the wet suits are not in full use. We did have one large fellow today that I had to give a weight belt to...More

We booked this excursion in advance based on TripAdvisor reviews. We cruised to Bermuda on the Norwegian Breakaway June 4-11, 2017. We opted to book excursions outside of the cruise line since we were in port for 2-1/2 days, and the cruise excursions did not...More

This was a complete waste of time and money. First the boat is just one step above the boat in Jaws. The dive was only 20 minutes of which he took pictures, which he pretty much almost forces you to take and pay additional for,...More

Very unique undersea experience without having to be dive certified. Greg is an interesting character, as well. :-)

Thanks for the 5 star review. Without the need for navigation, hand signals, lessons, helmet diving is all fun and very little effort. You can only see Greg as an interesting character if you are interested. :-}

I highly recommend booking this tour. This was my first underwater experience and it was amazing. I have snorkeled many times and always enjoyed seeing life below the sea. The helmet dive is so much better than snorkeling. It was amazing seeing coral and fish...More

Dear Pragat B, Thanks for the 5 star review. I knew we should have charged you more. You were destined to enjoy it more because you claim to not know how to swim. Therefore, you were pushing the envelope further and were closer to being...More

We are going to be in Bermuda the week of June 15. Is the water too cold that we will need to wear wetsuits?

Answer
Response from Greg H | Property representative |
Hi! Tom P, the water is never too cold for diving. When we start up (beginning of April), the water is right around 70, which is OK when wearing a wetsuit. By around June 15 the water will be around 80 and we will not be... More
