Always a stunning temple to visit. With a lots of history and culture. The temple is so beautifully decorated. The view of aching Mai from the terrace is superb. Love the ride through the jungle before arriving at the temple.

We visited this temple around 9am and it was a great experience! There were no crowds at that time, making it a very peaceful visit. The views were incredible!! We highly recommend putting this on your things to do.

My friend and I went on the scooter to Doi Suthep. The temple itself was very beautiful, but it was too busy. Altough the view was amazing!

Great Wat to experience in Chiang Mai. FYI lots of steps to get up there though. I think they say about 3000. Buddha, Buddha, Buddha everywhere!

You've two ways to reach the top of the hill , by foot (306 stairs) or a funicular. The temple is not so oversized ,but the , but Thai style is at ihis highest level gold is shining everywhere you move.

We traveled without a tour, but it was during the daytime only. I do not know if it is open at night.
