About
We are a commercial dairy goat farm, opening our doors to the public. We milk our herd twice a day and use the milk for our hand crafted soap. We have 8 different breeds of goats, with a total herd of over 100. A miniature donkey, miniature horses, alpacas, potbelly pig, with a variety of hens and bunnies to handle and love. Rain or Shine. During the winter months, please call for a private booking. Thank you!

All the staff who has interacted with our family were amazing. They were friendly, knowledgeable and entertained our kids in a safe and fun environment around the farm.

Visited the farm last week with my grand children. It was the best day ever seeing all the animals and being able to interact with them. The cafe had delicious butter tarts and great coffee. It was very exciting to meet Farmer Flory in the shoppe and purchase some soap. Farmer Flory is such a beautiful person greeting visitors with such a welcoming spirit and such love for her animals. Highly recommend you visit this farm

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Island Hill Farm!! There are so many goats, chickens and other animals. Gavin the donkey even rolled in the dirt. They have done a great job with investing in their business and have created a fun and relaxing environment for their guests. We enjoy their home made goat soap (scent free for me and many scents to offer for my three girls aged 11, 10 and 6) and this time I treated myself with a shaving bowl. They aren’t always available, because chickens can only make so many eggs, but we managed to luck into some fresh eggs from their Silkie Chickens. The animals are so friendly, and Flory and the staff are really nice and helpful. Keep up the excellent work and we’ll see you next time!!!!

My husband and I went here with our children (ages 6 and 9). What a great farm! The staff were excellent and always educating us on the different animals at every opportunity.
The barn is pretty much open so visitors can pickup, brush, touch, and interact with most animals. It’s more than a petting zoo - it really takes the interaction to another level!
The kids participated in the “goat run” led by Farmer Flory, which was so much fun for them, and for me to watch.
We enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and ice cream at the cafe and then browsed in the shop. Lots of beautiful handmade products. The big white (real live) bunny in the shop was also adorable. There really are animals everywhere at Island Hill Farm!
Farmer Flory was wonderful and so were all the staff! Encouraging interaction with the animals while explaining details and teaching us about the farm. I’ve never had a barn/farm animal experience like this.
There was also live music that started about half way through our visit. It was wonderful and totally set the mood for barn exploration.
This is a great family experience for ALL Ages!

Place is located just outside Charlottetown.
Price of admission is way to high for what you get, 1 adult and 3 kids was over $50!
Not much selection of animals, 90% of the animals are goats.
Had a bit of an issue with 1 of the staff members, nothing serious but kind of left a sour experience
I probably won't go back as there are better places to spend my money in Charlottetown or Cavendish.

Island Hill continues to be a lovely spot to visit with young kids, to get up close and experience farm animals; however was far and above the price it’s worth for a family to visit. Two adults, three children 3-4 years of age costs >60dollars, 2 hours before the end of the day, with no family rate.... quite foolishly over priced experience. This take in account no planned events/activities (at this time), the farm beginning to shut down for visitors, and the fact the farm isn’t governed by tourism alone (this is still a commercial farm). I might consider this a better price if visiting mid-day, summer, and with events planned on the farm. I also hope the staff are paid well because they were wonderful.
Get coupons for two for one, or get your young kiddos out before they turn three (because they are free).

It really is the #cutestplaceonearth !!
Plenty of animals to snuggle and hold. The cafe is great too! Fresh baked goods! The shop also has so many great items to take home! My favorite was the pig shaped soaps!
Everyone is so friendly at the farm and willing to share their knowledge with you. I have taken many people out to the farm and every single person has thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Farmer Flory and her staff are absolutely amazing. You go in as a visitor and leave as a friend.
They are very welcoming and really go out of their ways to make sure you take it all in.
The cafe has the best coffee on the island and the goat milk products are high quality and the best you will definitely find anywhere.
Thanks Farmer Flory and staff for the warm welcome.

Our family visits PEI every summer and we make it a point to visit Island Hill Farm each trip! And it never disappoints ❤ Farmer Flory is so kind and always takes the time to chat with the kids and take a photo, no matter how busy it is. The animals are very well cared for and they are so happy living there. You HAVE to buy some soap and room spray from their shop.. its the absolute best!!

We are coming by cruise ship on October 11, 2018. Will you be open for visitors and how far are you from the cruise terminal? How would you suggest getting to your farm? It’s just me and my husband. 2 seniors from San Diego, CA. First time on your island. Thanks for answering my questions. Karin
