journey to the airport at the village two and a half hours exhausting. as a great village both eating and cleaning, beautiful white sand beach, transparent and warm sea water, the biggest flaw had to get up at 6am to take the sunbed on the beach because they prefer to give umbrellas and sunbeds to Tunisian daily residents with big tips to those who manage the beach., it is a flaw for Italians who go on vacation and do not have to get up at 6am because they already work all year.

If anyone is into history like I am, this is worth taking a visit to. The entry fee is very small, but what awaits are 360 degree views from the top of the fort. Unlike other monuments you will have full free access throughout the fort and it will take you at least an hour or two to get around, while reading the various plaques that recall its history. The views are breath taking and they alone are worth the visit, but the structure is so well maintained it reeks of quality of the workers at the time of the build. Once is enough to visit but worth going.

It was one of the best places to get great views of Kelibia which had beautiful nature but unfinished buildings. It looked like the only buildings that were finished on time were the mosques the rest were just sad left in the mercy of nature.

It is a pleasant walk up from the harbour to the fort - not too steep. From the fort walls you get the most stunning views of the surrounding country and coast.
You can walk unhindered around the top of the walls as they have all been rebuilt. The insides of the fort are not extensive, as it was mostly demolishd over the years but there are bits that are interesting. There are fortunately a number of information signs around to give explanations.
Really worth a visit - for the views alone.

This fort is so similiar to the forts in the Caribbean although it is much older. It served the same purpose as the other forts and that was to guard the city form invasion via the sea.
There was a canon out front which came much later in the history of the Fort.

We made a last minute stop at this lovely fort and were so happy we did. First of all, the keeper of the fort was so kind. We arrived just as they were closing but he allowed us to still go in. It's a small but very well preserved fort dating To 128bc. The views are beautiful. Right now, it's springtime and the yellow flowers are stunning. It can be done in 30 min but you should give yourself an hour. A definite must see if you are in the area.

Здравствуйте. Как можно добраться из хаммамета и в какую цену обойдется дорога? Так же интересно ориентировочное время для неспешной прогулки по крепости с выпитой чашкой чая
