We visited this famous beauty spot on a bright sunny November day when there were very few people around, so we almost had the beach to ourselves, but I have seen it very crowded in the warmer months. Never -the -less it is really beautiful. The views over the sea from the cliffs above are breathtaking especially when the sun... More

Aphrodite’s Rock On our way back from Paphos to Limassol we still had some sunlight and decided to visit. The place is very pretty with a lovely beach but what made the visit special were the 2 wedding parties that were using the area for their wedding pictures. The glow from the couples and their families added a special aura... More

Went there with my husband and 5 months old daughter- we have enjoyed our time there. It was quite and we ended up staying there for much longer then intended! Highly recommend when off season

This is a beautiful place, Aphrodite's birthplace, the Goddess of love, beauty. Located about 34km south from Paphos. You may take bus 361 or a taxi for 30 euros one way. If you love to swim and relax, this is the place, must bring a good sun blocker as there is very little sheltered areas. There is a small cafe... More

It is famous in Cyprus, but I understand why. When the sun sets, it is so nice to sit on the beach, climb the rock or go into the water; It is as simple as it looks: it's a beach and a rock. And that's all you need to be happy.

The mythology might be more interesting than actually seeing the site. Pretty and scenic. Good limestone surroundings. Popular tourist spot.

Great views, warm water. One half of the beach was sheltered and the other was very windy!! Nice little cafe, let children use their facilities.

A number of folk have raved about this place. After wandering down to it I can see what some people would like about it. The beach is okay and when we visited it was pretty quiet. There is some ancient Greek history here. Some people maybe disappointed !

This is a beautiful spot where Aphrodite the Goddess of Love was born of the foam and it just a charming spot....there is a small café and you park on the other side of the road and walk through a tunnel to get there - worth the stop on this beautiful stone beach
