Lost in the middle of the mountains near the river ... surrounded by several trees, you found suddenly the bridge in front of you. Old medieval bridge well preserved. Beautiful surroundings so peaceful... relaxing place ... disturb by the voice of the river ..! So nice !

Paphos mountain is exceptionally beautiful offering the passionate traveler an amazing view. When one looks at a distance one realizes that it’s denser than the Troodos mountain range offering a variety of surprises all through the journey.

We've been on our way from Paphos to Spilia and we were looking for a place to stop for a picnic.
The place is very peaceful and seemed to be well known for other travelers.

A beautiful medieval bridge in the heart of the forest, The river that flows under it (diarizos river) flows all year round but the amount of water depends on the season

We used the bridge as the starting point for a hike in the hills above. I would not really recommend this area for a hike; rather boring terrain. The bridge on the other hand is definitely worthwhile seeing. It is in impressively good shape and the setting is very pretty.

We visited on a beautiful sunny day! We parked at the top just off the road and it was a little walk down to the bridge the hill is quite steep so be carful with pushchairs and wheelchairs.
There is a lovely little seating area you can sit at and have a picnic we took a little walk down to the dam and then around the area!
We got to see some carp in the stream too! Myself and my husband were able to walk across the stream in our wellies but was too deep for the children it went over there wellies.
The bridge it’s self is very big and looks over the stream beautiful piece of history to teach young children, our boys were looking for the troll!

A very old stone bridge kept in perfect conditon. Always the water is running thru the river. Very nice and silent place to visi it
