The beach is located adjacent to the National Highway. We just dropped by on our way to Gokarnam from Udupi. As rock armour has been laid not to prevent the sea from carving out the highway, there is no proper path to step into the...More

Maravante beach is one of the most spectacular beaches in this region on. It runs by the HW 66 so that you won't miss it. Also at some places, there is water on both sides on the HW that makes that view an unforgettable. But...More

The only place where the road seperates a wide river and the sea. Lots of coconut water ( go for the local yellow coconuts), clean beach with facilities to wash the sand out of your clothes.

The ongoing highway construction destroyed all that might have been beautiful, But it is still nice to drive. Not worth making special trip for it.
