This place has lost its pristine beauty, however it's almost 30 years old now, and that's why I'm not complaining! The view of the river below is still almost as breathtaking as it was three decades ago. However, to me, the only incentive to crossing this bridge real quick onward to Tezpur is my favourite halt at Samaroh Dhaba! Best... More

Earlier there were great scenary beside the bridge due to line of trees on the NH15A, but now for the sake of road widening all the trees were cut and hence only the bridge has no attraction. There is another bridge is being on the making besides the original one.

This is the longest bridge I have ever come across. It was completed in 1987 and is 3.105 meters long across the mighty Brahmaputra and connects Koliabor and Tezpur. It is the lifelife of many cities and villages in Upper Assam and Arunanchal Pradesh. Watching the sun set over the mighty Brahmaputra from the bridge will always be unforgettable..

This is the entry point for Tezpur... The bridge's length is around 3 km.... One has to bear entry fee to access this bridge.... It was opened to public in the year 1987....

A good 3 kilometer drive. Just open all windows of the car and enjoy the breeze and the view of the river. The view is awesome. After crossing the bridge just stop for a while to admire the natural beauty.

It is a wonderful experience to drive on this 3 km bridge, especially during Sunset, over the mighty River Brahmaputra. I have done this multiple time and would do it again and again.
