One should not miss this place in their attraction/visit list during their tour. Moodabidri boasts of having one of the finest of the finest Jain God Temples, Hindu Temples and a paradise for Farm lovers. There are plenty of beautiful Educational Institutes with most modern facilities provided by ALVAS and CHOWTAS.
Food in this place is awesome.

Please donot miss.

Not sure why it is called 1000 pillar temple. It doesn't seem to be, for sure. Can be visited if you are nearby. Not a must visit place to be planned. Rs. 100 or 150 is charged for mobile photography.

Located right as you enter Moodbidri from Karkala. An extremely peaceful and quiet place. Great to spend some at peace. A small fee is charged for non-Jains and for photography.

Moodbidri is one of the best tourist place which is 30kms away from Mangalore. It is a best living place too in Mangalore. I have visited this place for the reason of studies purpose. Here there are 16 Jain temples and 16 lakes which attracts the most for all. Specially 1000 Piller temple is one of the popular temple and there UP, Gujarat and many states people come here. Also here there are best hotels like Ballal hotel, Navami and also we can find best restaurants like Sagar, Charcoals, etc. And regrading the education here is the Karnataka's top College Alvas which has 20000 + students in a campus. Also here 3 engineering and MBA colleges also we can find.
Problems of this place is parking is not so good and roads are still hardly 7 meters and till now there is no development in a roads.
But place is really clean and weather also all time good. Overall Moodbidri is a good place for tourism and to live.

It's a beautiful architecture of Jainism. The inside is very neat and tidy, however the external needs maintenance. The idol was so beautiful that one automatically bows down with admiration and faith. Enjoyed. place to visit

This is an old temple. It could have been better maintained. I gave it a 3 star as it is not very easy for the elderly to navigate due to the stairs and its height. Also, the entrance to the place is also very narrow making it difficult to get very close to the entrance.
