Loved our experience with Angie and Jonathan! Great time at waterfalls, volcano and coffee plantation! Picked us up at our location and brought us back safely in bad weather! Authentic lunch too!

Michael from Green Path went with us through the Carara Nationalpark and we enjoyed every min of it. It is mainly for folks interested in Birds - and Michael knows more or less all of them....

our guide, Micheal, was exceptionally educated and able to teach us about the birds and the ecosystem in the park. He spent time with us to achieve our birding goals. He spoke excellent English and communicated the details of the birds and their habitat completely. He was by far the best birding guide we had on this trip.…

We booked our trip through Costarica.org. Day 1 was a birding tour through Carara National Park starting at 7:00am. Our tour guide Michael and driver promptly arrived at 7am on the nose! As it was so early we asked if we could stop for coffee, he took us to a bakery in his home town of Tarcoles. The pastries were incredible but sigh...no coffee. Then he did the most incredible thing! He called his MOTHER! We went to see his mom and she had coffee waiting for us. I fell in love with Michael in that instant. This was an incredible tour, we saw monkeys, and a boatload of birds. Michael was extremely knowledgeable about his native flora and fauna and even checked for snakes before a family photo. Do not miss the opportunity to take a tour with Green Path-ask for Michael! …

My wife and I were in CR for the first time own a trip that was a bit of business and pleasure. On our final day we really wanted to see some wildlife beyond the glimpses of the Macaws we saw around the resort but we also didn't want to spend an entire day getting to Manuel Antonio where we were told we would have the best chance to see monkey's in particular. We decided on Carrara sibs eat was only 30 min from our resort and booked with GreenPath. We expected to be part of perhaps a larger group but it was just my wife and I along with Michael our tour guide and Rodrigo who drove the van. Very impressed right from the start - they picked us up in an impeccably clean vehicle and both were very friendly and spoke excellent english. Michael took us through the park at a leisurely pace pointing out many interesting inhabitants from the tiniest insect to a variety of birds which we got close up views thru his spotting scope he carried. On several occasions he even was able to capture excellent pictures thru the scope using my phone's camera. While it wasn't a sure bet we early on saw a small group of Howler monkeys passing by in the tree tops and then we were very pleasantly surprised to come across not only a some Spider Monkeys but also some Capuchin's as well, one of which came down within about 12 feet of us. After the tour we were taken to a small "Soda" and treated to an authentic CR meal before transported back to our resort. Total tour lasted about 4 1/2 hours door to door. Michael is very knowledgable about all the various species of flora and fauna and I felt like we were taking part in a Nat'l Geo documentary. I would highly recommend Green Path. Thank you Michael and Rodrigo (and Marion the Soda proprietor) for a very interesting and enjoyable morning!…
