Rustic fun

Tired of salt water and hot sands? Cool off just a couple of miles west of Puerta Viejo at Bribri falls. Cross the bridge pay a small fee to park (1000 colones per adult). The trail down to the falls is a bit challenging if you’re older or well out of shape. The falls are not spectacular but fun and refreshing. We (an older couple with younger couple and young granddaughters) found it exhilarating. We watched several locals climb the falls and jump from different heights. It’ rustic and all natural. Maybe grab a few brews at the bar that serves as parking before you head down. Play like a local.

Great place easy hike

My boyfriend and I went there today and found it to be quite beautiful! The hike was easy and the parking is at someone’s house which is very cheap to park they give u a walking stick if you need it and it’s safe
