Did the dirt shirt bike tour and beach boil. If you want a truly authentic island experience, you’ll want to make sure you visit Red Rock! Nathan and Annie are exceptional hosts who ensure their patrons’ comfort while entertaining with stories and history about the area. The dirt shirts look great, just be prepared to get dirty (feels like that almost doesn’t need to be said). The food on the beach was outstanding and plentiful. The staff clearly work hard ‘behind the scenes’ allowing us to sit and enjoy the beautiful location. Even the bald eagles performed on cue, breathtaking. Definitely a must do on the east side of the island and something we’ll be back for!

Wow! Just wow! We are a family of four with a 12 and 14 year old. We drove from Cavendish which took approximately an hour and a half. We stopped at Brackley Beach along the way. On arrival Nathan met us and we knew instantly we were in for an amazing day. Nathan is very knowledgeable about PEI and told us stories of some of the history surrounding the Island. We had a leisurely bike ride and a beach walk to the red clay where we proceeded to dye our shirts. “You know when you have found perfect clay just by the feel”! My hands are so soft now. We then biked to another beach and had a wonderful lobster beach beach boil!! Nathan started the fire with a flint! Survivor style. Annie and her team were wonderful and even engaged my teenagers in making lemonade. We feasted on a smoked salmon appetizer, had a clam/mussel bake without the mussels as I am allergic, a wonderful fresh salad with locally grown produce and of course lobster. For dessert we ended with a sunset and a blueberry grumble. We felt like we were with old friends, easy conversation, laughs and relaxation. I 100% recommend Nathan and his team. It’s worth the drive.

We were looking for an adventure for our family while visiting PEI from Ontario. This ended up being a favourite for our kids. It wasn't just making the dirt shirts. There was thought and creativity into making it a challenge with fire making and pulling out a real lobster trap. Our guide, Porter was awesome and very knowledgeable about the island and life in PEI while also being relatable to the kids. Of course, making the shirts was lots of fun and a great keepsake. We highly recommend to add this adventure to your itinerary!

We had such a fun time making our own tee shirts - we enjoyed it as much as the kids. Our guide was great with the kids, beach was beautiful, and learned a little history of the area as well. We will surely remember our experience with Red Rock Adventure with fond memories as part of our PEI trip.

We had an amazing time on our adventure! We went with our children (16, 13, and 9) and all of us were engaged in the scavenger hunt activities (some of us were a bit more capable than others :) ). Making the dirt shirts was so, so fun, and has given us all a souvenir that will continuously remind us of our visit to this beautiful island. Bring proper shoes that you don't mind getting wet (and an extra pair for the way home). We did the first, but not the second (our fault), so they were a bit damp on the way home. This experience was one of our highlights! A huge thank you to Nathan for such an awesome experience.

Glad you guys enjoyed it, as it was a great way to kick off our season; be sure to let us know next time in you are in the area!
Thanks,

We had the most amazing afternoon making our Dirt Shirts at Cow River Beach. Our guide, Porter, was so great. He was awesome with your kids and engaging and informative! The two hours we spent together flew by and making the shirts was so fun, along with some fun challenges along the way for the kids. This was an unforgettable afternoon and the shirts look awesome! It was even fun for the adults to get messy and connect with the earth!

Porter was amazing. Had lots of island information and stories. Was very friendly and patient with all the questions we kept hounding him with. 😂
The shirt making and final product was pretty much exactly what we expected.
We had not expected it would be a private tour(just us 3) and loved that it was.
Highly recommend. Terrific job Red Rock Adventures.

We (family of four, kids 10 and 13) had the best day! By the end of it we were dirty, wet and smiling ear to ear. Nathan planned an amazing adventure which included a scavenger hunt, flint and steel, dirt shirts and the most beautiful, red beach! Nathan added to the day with his kind, fun, and casual approach. He offered some advice to us that we would like to share here as it illustrates the interactive quality of the day - 'once your socks are wet, they don't get wetter!'. So fun, and highly recommended!!!
If you are going up the the east side of the island, also recommended by Nathan, the Snack Shack is an excellent stop for food after as well as a good place to rinse all your clothes and shoes. There is an outdoor shower.
Thanks again Nathan!

While visiting the Island, we wanted to do something different and more hands-on. We found out about the dirt shirt experience and we were so glad to reach out and be able to do the tour. This was the highlight of our vacation.
Nathan is passionate about the Island and told us so many stories! We did some kind of scavenger hunt searching for our items on the beach then headed to transform our white shirts into orange ones. It was fun and very interactive. Our kids (10 and 13) loved it! Thank you Nathan, we are bringing back wonderful memories home with us.
