Wow! Just wow! We are a family of four with a 12 and 14 year old. We drove from Cavendish which took approximately an hour and a half. We stopped at Brackley Beach along the way. On arrival Nathan met us and we knew instantly we were in for an amazing day. Nathan is very knowledgeable about PEI and told us stories of some of the history surrounding the Island. We had a leisurely bike ride and a beach walk to the red clay where we proceeded to dye our shirts. “You know when you have found perfect clay just by the feel”! My hands are so soft now. We then biked to another beach and had a wonderful lobster beach beach boil!! Nathan started the fire with a flint! Survivor style. Annie and her team were wonderful and even engaged my teenagers in making lemonade. We feasted on a smoked salmon appetizer, had a clam/mussel bake without the mussels as I am allergic, a wonderful fresh salad with locally grown produce and of course lobster. For dessert we ended with a sunset and a blueberry grumble. We felt like we were with old friends, easy conversation, laughs and relaxation. I 100% recommend Nathan and his team. It’s worth the drive.

Did the dirt shirt bike tour and beach boil. If you want a truly authentic island experience, you’ll want to make sure you visit Red Rock! Nathan and Annie are exceptional hosts who ensure their patrons’ comfort while entertaining with stories and history about the area. The dirt shirts look great, just be prepared to get dirty (feels like that almost doesn’t need to be said). The food on the beach was outstanding and plentiful. The staff clearly work hard ‘behind the scenes’ allowing us to sit and enjoy the beautiful location. Even the bald eagles performed on cue, breathtaking. Definitely a must do on the east side of the island and something we’ll be back for!

This was my first visit to PEI and I was looking for an easy bike riding tour to see the Island. I found Red Rock Adventure Company online, pitched the idea to my parents and we decided to go for it. We drove from Charlottetown to Naufrage which is about an hour drive but well worth it. The tour takes place in a small village right by the coast. The bike ride is approx 10 mins each way. Our tour guide Nathan who is a local was friendly and authentic and I was highly impressed by the process. You make your own shirt making the experience one of a kind!

My boyfriend and I are so happy that we decided to go on this adventure with Nathan! We really enjoyed biking to the beach and having a special guided tour from someone who grew up exploring the local nature. Our shirts turned out looking fantastic and we had a ton of fun making them while Nathan taught us how the process works and about life on PEI. This has been the most unique and memorable experience we have had in PEI an we highly recommend it. Thank you Nathan!

My daughter (age 18) and I ended our PEI vacation with the Dirt Shirt Tour and it was the highlight of our trip! Nathan was an excellent host. Being a PEI native, he had a lot of interesting information to share with us. In the end, we left with two unique shirts - a truly authentic PEI souvenir that we have enjoyed wearing several times since. Such a fun experience - we absolutely loved it! We have already recommended this tour to others who are travelling to PEI.
