The most unique dinner experience I’ve had. Top Notch food, fun and in the most serene environment. This has easily become something we’re going to do yearly. 10/10

My first visit to Metepenagiag (Red Bank) and wow, what a beautiful place. Steve is a great host and it was lovely to chat and relax by the river. Made a meal together and had a refreshing dip in the water. The food was so good but the conversation made it even better!! 😄 Hurry up and visit the region and book an activity with Steve!

Thank you for visiting Metepenagiag First Nation for the first time, our Mikmaq culture welcomes everyone to come and visit our small community here along the Miramichi River. I appreciate the support you have shown in selecting my business to host your small group for a day of food and fun sharing and cooking a delicious meal together by an open fire. " We are glad you had an "awesome day and great meal". Ap Nemultes See you again Stephen Paul

Had a wonderful day kayaking, swimming and enjoying delicious food. Steve is a great host. Everything you need or want is already thought of and available. A little over half way through our kayaking excursion we stopped and enjoyed the best salmon I've ever tasted. They have sides and wonderful dessert surprise as well. We continued kayaking while admiring Bald Eagles and Osprey flying overhead. It was truly an amazing experience.

Thanks TerryLynn for the kind words , we are so glad you and your family had a fun day.. The views of nature along the Miramichi River are spectacular especially when the eagles and osprey are close by. Our dining/kayak tours are becoming a popular thing to do here in Red Bank. We love our salmon and happy that you enjoyed it as well, especially slow cooked by the open fire. The s'mores were a hit with the boys for sure. regards Stephen Paul

Absolutely amazing day! Stephen our host was there to welcome us. He showed us how to make and cook traditional foods. The plank salmon and bread with blue berries were delicious! We had time to talk, connect, share stories and learn more about what a special place Metepenagiag First Nation has been and continues to be. He then guided us through the most beautiful river where we saw, fish hawks diving into the water and even some eagles. Our group included people of all ages and we were all able to enjoy this time. Truly grateful for this experience. Highly recommend!

Thank you for the kind words during your visit with us here in Metepenagiag aka Village of Thirty centuries. We strive to keep it simple and personal so that our guests feel connected with our tours. Cooking and sharing food is such a big part of our Mikmaq culture and our ancestors have been doing it for a long time long ago. Ap nemultes "see you again" Steve P.
