This is a small venue in an eastern community with wonderful, proud and friendly growers, In addtion to garden items, there are fresh local meats, eggs, andalso some local knitters and weavers and a few other businesses (massage/plants/local authors/sometimes preserves, dips and baking) . Amazing Indain food is also available and a local bicycle fixer...as the growing season progress the choices, of course, improve and a few local bouquets are available.. everything I have purchased is great and fresh and local and grown with care and passion....if you want an authentic small town market, this is your place..there is often live music or local magicians (the young performer was pretty good, the little kids loved him)

We normally shop at Toronto's St Lawrence Market on Saturday mornings, so we decided to check out this farmers' market. It is quite small, with limited choices. We bought some eggs and frozen sausages, but passed up the baked goods and the plants. Not much in the way of vegetables available, but that is no doubt due to the season. The market is pleasant enough, but we would have like more choice.

Great market with very friendly locals, great produce and freshly made snacks. It's nice that the biggest part of the market is under roof so come rain or shine you can get your market fix

Fresh, local food, yummy baking, handmade treasures, coffee and lunch items....it's all here. So is (depending on the day), free massages, face painting, local musicians and people giving gardening advice! A great place to shop but also to visit with friends and find out what's happening in your community. They even have someone giving little talks on local history: "Heritage Moments" type of thing!
