A great venue that puts on a wide variety of shows and films, the musical shows are usually tribute acts (not that there is anything wrong with that!).

Lovely theatre. Lots of different shows. Staff friendly and great.
Auditorium isn’t huge, but you get a decent view from anywhere and the sound is good.
We’ve seen some fabulous stuff over recent years including....Paul Daniels, Johnnie Walker, Brian Sewell and Gervase Phinn.
Our first visit to the Elgiva was very rewarding. There is parking nearby, the bar area is pleasant with reasonable prices.
Our only minor issue is the seating which is not as comfortable as some other theatres.

Great local entertainment venue ,films and live music or theatre ,took the grandchildren to the pantomime the loved it ,a very traditional one,also they do the live theatre that's transmitted from another venue
Came to watch a Madness tribute here was fantastic and really had the audience going. Been numerous times to watch theatre and films really good vibe. Reasonable priced drinks and snacks too + great space for parking outside
Have visited the Elgiva to see films and theatre and some dancing events and have always felt comfortable and well served. Always worth keeping an eye in the schedules as they have plenty of good shows for all age groups.
Smashing theatre,, highly recommended good names and tributes in a small town that you see without having to pay over the top prices, great facilities with bar and cafe, only issue waiting for toilet at half time break, but same goes most places...
