The heading says it all. Head to Ipsos if you want fun but the beach there is the same as Dassia. We hired a boat and just sailed up the east coast and found some great beaches.

Not much of a beach at all. Narrow and stony. Not very clean either. Another problem is the two nearby large hotels which are being rebuilt - noise and dust. The beaches on the north and west coasts are better.

This is a pebbly beach with a really close sea. Along the beach are bars and restaurants as well as boat trips.

Good beach, nice water, but too narrow and stony, almost all of it is taken from the beach bars, which, however, offer good sunbeds and umbrellas.

The beach at dassia was fairly clean with good places to eat and drink food was brought to your sun bed if requested and the sea was calm with a safe depth for all swimmers

Clear calm waters. Smooth sand once you get into water. Pebble beach. Take a sun umbrella as not enough shade spots available.

The area nearer town can be noisy and further north is much better - it is a long beach, find out where the hotel is.

I found Dassia to be very relaxing. Regarding the loud misic it all depends with what part of the beach you`re at. There are some beach clubs that are mostly frequented by young people so it can be a bit loud to some peoples... More
