My wife and I drove on Manitoulin Island for the day and found this hidden treasure from her sign on the main road. We ended up staying the night in Little Current just to do horse back riding the following day. Really nice owner and super trained horses. We only did the hour tour on her property because it was... Recommended by the owners of the cabins we were staying at, the ladies from Honora were great with my girls' on their pony rides, including the very first ride for my 4 year-old

My husband and I had never ridden a horse before. We arrived at the stables and were immediately welcomed, we were given clear instructions what to do where to wait for our horse, etc. We were given a lesson on riding and we set off on the trail. The location is beautiful, our guide very informative and attentive. Both of... More

The problem with this place is the owner and the trail. One of the horses we were given had an injured leg, and because the trail was rocky and uneven the horse stumbled consistently, the owner would blame this one my friend who was riding the horse and was constantly nagging her through out the length of the trail on... Very sorry you did not enjoy your ride. I can say for a fact that we would never put a lame horse on a ride as I care very much for my horses, ( they are my children), and definitely no injured horses traverse our trails. Our trails are rocky, and not a smooth hiking path, they are very well... More

Went for a 2 hour ride. I am an experienced rider and my wife is a novice. Kayla took us out on a 2 hour ride and both inspired and reassured. Kayla offered much advise and horse information. She gave us a brief history of the area, her family, her horses, her philosophy of running a stable and her rules... More

A great place to take the family for a ride through the Manitoulin Island woods and hills (with an amazing view), just make sure you call ahead for a reservation. The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming and the seasoned horses were extremely calm and well behaved, everything was explained to make sure even the newest of riders felt comfortable... More

As horse owners and experienced riders, we were very impressed. Well trained, good minded horses who are not dead-heads following the tail in front of them, and clearly well cared for. Appreciate the care for safety of horses & riders, and we found that care was taken to match the horse to the rider's abilities. Spectacular scenery on the trails.... More

My daughter and I had a wonderful 2 hour trail ride up the escarpment through a meadow filled with wildflowers with a great view of the north channel. We continued on through the forest and came upon a doe just off the trail, what a beautiful sight! Kyla matched us up with great horses for our skill level. Our guide... More
