All the good things here are provided by nature. On the human side, it's quite abandoned and a bit dirty, unfortunately.

I've just spent 3 days there. I guess the pictures I took say it all. One thing I didn't like was the amount of trash that comes with the seaweeds on low tides. Maybe a little cleaning up once a day would do wonders.

Travelling to Maragogi from south this is the last beach before getting there. Just go and park your car in the first parking place you find. There´s few guys offering to make a boat trip. TAKE IT! Is´t much more cheap than Maragogi and there´s almost anybody there. Go dive and you´ll see a lot of beautiful fishs swimming with... More

Japaratinga Beach may not be easy to reach but it is well wort the trip. It is perhaps one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Well worth the trouble of the ride there from Maceio or Recife.

Perfect beach and a warm sea. Ideal for a long beach walk and also for swimming in the sea. There are a couple of places with some sunbeds. Not much people at the beach, only in the weekend some locals, this is nice to sea.

Beautiful "virgin" beach. The water is warm and very shallow is perfect for paddle board. Around 1pm when the tide goes back you can take a trip to the natural pools for snorkeling

It was a very quick visit to this beach, but definitely worth going! It's peaceful and has a breathtaking scenario.

Japaratinga is one of the most quiet places in the area. The beach is not the best one for diving, as it is extremely shallow in low tide, but it is a great place to walk and enjoy the view. Walking along the cost there are several small restaurants too.
