Myself and 72 others visited West Bay Beach on a cruise stop and had a great time (with the exception of the horrible service at Argentinian Grill West Bay - the manager is extremely rude, one of the employees gave away 2 beach chairs that...More

My wife and I were blown away by the beach. We went in October and when you roll the dice and gamble by traveling during rainy season, sometimes it really pays off. The beach was super empty. We strolled along and chatted with locals and...More

Right outside the Coxen Hole port, we bought a day tour package for 20 (USD) a person. It drove us to Victor Boddens Monkey Business, then to West Bay Beach and back to ship. The package was worth it. Don’t pay more then 25$ a...More

Very beautiful beach with sugar sand. By far the most visually stunning beach we saw on the island. However, would not go back. Way too many locals selling tours, tee shirts, massages, etc. They are relentless and annoying. Restaurants are like “chains” and food was...More

Beautiful, well cared-for white sand beach with restaurants and bars doting the perimeter. Security was always present, although I don't believe I would leave my belongings unattended. Awesome snorkeling right from the shore.

The water was beautiful, but when compared to scuba diving the coral reefs of the red sea, the coral reefs of west bay are a 3 out of 5. It's super crowded during spring break with all the people from cruise ships....

Crystal clear water, colorful fish and amazing reefs. Booked a private tour from the west bay beach and it was the most amazing thing we saw all week. Our guide named all the fish and reef formations. Very fun and informative.

West Bay snorkeling in Roatan is fantastic! From the cruise port in Roatan, we caught a taxi to West Bay for $20 per person round trip. Best sure to ask for the price up front. Then we found Banana Rama for $10 per person for...More

This is a wonderful beach, with miles of sandy shore! You can have fish nibble the dead skin off your toes, or you can snorkel right to the reef. It's busy with water taxis and people trying to get you on a tour or to...More

We stayed at Banarama resort for 7 days. We arranged the shuttle through them. 25 to 30.00 each way for our family of 4. If you are going there for the day from a cruise expect the same cab fare. I believe Banarama charges... More

I was with a medical mission team, so not part of a cruise. We simply drove to West Bay beach and snorkeled there. It should be easy enough to get a cab from the cruise ship terminal. It's a bit of a ride however, over... More
