This is a great beach to have fun and relax. Many good hotels and restaurants in the area. The water is quiet, clean and transparent. You can swim or walk along the beach. The sand is white and clean.

The water is smooth like glass, feels like a cool bath, great for kids and adults. There's enough restaurants and bars right on the beach to keep you fed and hydrated! Lots of friendly people. Make sure to get some banana bread from Matthew as he makes his daily vendor walk. Stop in at Bananarama, Argentinian Grill, Foster's Bar, and hop in the pool bar at Caribe Tesoro and ask for Sam. After you finish diving at Blue Planet Divers(right next to GULA), you can get your lunch and beverage at the many places just mentioned.…

We return to Roatan regularly and West Bay Beach is ALWAYS one of our favorite spots on the island. A spectacularly beautiful beach located in a great spot on the island. Great hotels there, wonderful diving and snorkeling just steps away! A must see!
