The clarity and snorkeling is so good here. You can spend hours each day snorkeling. You pretty much can go out right where the scuba divers are at and see what they are seeing. Water is warm and the sand is soft. Very few waves....More

My family of seven recently visited West Bay Beach in Roatan on our Carnival Dream cruise. We were served by Harris and Alex while there. They took care of our every need and made the day an enjoyable one. I would recommend that any travelers...More

Beautiful beaches and water. Great for diving and snorkeling. Vendors do get very annoying but you learn to ignore them.

It was a great dive trip. The resort there was nice, with food and drinks included. Beaches were nice and water great. Felt safe in our area while there.

My family visited Roatan west bay for our annual vacation. We stayed 7 days at Bananarama. This beach and area is beautiful and safe for families with young children. It does get busy during cruise ship days. Walk down to the end of the beach....More

There is no water ferry. You have to get a taxi. Negotiate the fare - they charge per vehicle - so pack it up. They can run from $20 to $40 round trip. There is a water taxi between West End and West Bay.
