The current church was built in the 1930's and incorporates architectural details and possible original pieces from the previous church which went back to the 1500's. A pleasant, albeit small, local church, it commands the square in which it sits and is enjoyable to visit,...More

The Duomo is not a reason to visit Castelmola. If you go to Castelmola and you have 10-15 minutes to spare, by all means, find it and do drop in. If not, nothing lost. The Duomo is a non-event as a tourist attraction, and somewhat...More

Peaceful church in the centre of the village / town. The tourists seem to make their way to the bars / restaurants so quite peaceful in the church. Modest church that could do with a coat of paint inside.

This church is enclosed inside a beautiful contest, with a scenic view a nice square and also offers plenty important Christianity figures to see.

Can't miss this church in the central square. Good views from the terrace behind it. The inside was surprisingly simple for an Italian church.

several different restaurants and bars although many seemed to be owned by the same family. wonderful food or a drink under the mimosa tree as the church bells chime the time away

This is a really quaint church with incredible sweeping views of the valley. Off the beaten path so it can be enjoyed without the hordes of tourists you find in nearby Taormina.

A small, humble church but an oasis of peace for a quiet prayer. There are electric candles that you pay a few euros to light. Well worth a visit.

Small church of a local character, what is izabcrkve is a fantastic vantage point. see this conflict that lasts for 50 years between the church and cafés
