About
Lacombe Golf and Country Club are located midway between Calgary and Edmonton along the QEII. The golf course is a very traditional par 71 layout, with many large trees lining the fairways. Accuracy is at a premium because if you avoid the trees, the small undulating greens will certainly test your spirit.

The most beautiful course set just within the City of Lacombe. Each hole is equivalent to unwrapping the most anticipated Christmas gift for 18 holes. The fairways are perfectly manicured only to be met with golf green perfection. Challenging greens not to be out done with each extremely beautiful Par 3’s. It’s not just a game of Golf. It’s a picturesque walk/drive as you make your way from hole to hole. Be sure to have your camera ready. The abundance of wildlife & many many species of birds will be a perfect memory of your experience captured forever in your mind yet shareable with everyone. Enjoy your trip around our our piece of heaven. Lacombe Golf & Country Club is more than just a name or a place. It’s an opportunity to experience a one in a million golfing experiences & meeting your newest lifelong friends.

This is an exceptional golf course with interesting holes that require a variety shots. Greens are fast and challenging. Reasonable prices.

The greens are still hurting from the winter and the fairways need some smoothing out but the course offers a challenge wrapped in old style elegance. The lay out is wide ranging and provides a pleasant lay out for the vast majority of golfers. The afternoon rates are very attractive.

LGCC is the location of the Cow Patti dinner theatre in the off season. If the food served during the summer is the same as we get in the winter you are in for a treat. They have the best Prime Rib in Alberta. Period!

Course in great shape, greens fast and true.
Love layout of course, challenging yet forgiving at the same time. Great course for any level of player.

Came here for an employee tournament. Started the day with a burger (three actually) which was/were very good. The golf itself was fun and the day was beautiful. The course is wonderfully maintained and just gorgeous.

The only real issue I had with the course was the layout. On more than one occasion we were almost hit, or almost hit others, from adjacent holes. It's weird to be setting up your second shot on the fairway and someone else's drive from the hole adjacent lands right next to you.

Supper was prime rib with a ton of salads and sides. Fantastic! Dessert selection was good too.

Overall, I had a great time and I think so did the rest of the attendees. I would strongly recommend the LGCC, just keep your head up.

Went to the Dinner Theatre that is held in the Golf Course Club House last evening.
The meal was a great Prime Rib , well cooked and seasoned, the rest of meal also very good.
The Play was fantastic, the actors were great. The show was hilarious but also had some serious moments but was about real life and the humour was free of foul language which now a days is refreshing.
Would highly recommend this performance to everyone.

Excellent effort by Connor & his side kick Wayne with their Team Connor, on their efforts to keep the course in the most improved it has been in the last 15 years. This is the first year of this team and the monumental improvements has far exceeded past results. No matter what the weather conditions (rain or hail), this Team excels at jumping in & providing the best possible course conditions for all that play there .Great group of individuals dedicated to Connor & the course.

Very annoying and rude players assistant interrupted our game play to complain about our pace of play despite the fact there being players ahead of us. He would not listen nor understand basic logic. He then continued to harass us, slow us down and ruin our experience. I will go to one of the many other courses available in the area next time.

Great layout on this course. It has some challenging holes to be sure. The course is actively involved in the community as well.
