My husband and I took the combo ficus tree climb/canyoning tour. This was, by far, our favorite adventure in Costa Rica!!! Melvin and Davis were our private guides for the day. We started with an amazing climb up a 132 ft ficus tree! We tried all 3 ways of climbing the tree, completed all but the rings. Melvin and Davis... More

+ awesome experience of rapelling down 6 beautiful waterfalls + good saftey practices to minimize potential accidents + they pick you up and drop you off as part of the package - due to accents, it is hard to understand instructions so best to clarify and have them clearly demonstrate everything

We are seasoned travellers across the globe but have never come across a tree-climbing tour before so we had to do it - and wow it was something special. The huge strangler fig tree is on the family's property and it's hollow inside, exposing all the branches & roots - it was amazing to climb it. It's incredible that there... More

We did the tree top climbing & canyoning combo tour & loved both of them. Each one was so different, but still involved rope skills. We had the same guides for both so we got to know them a bit better & learned to trust their safety measures. If you decide to do the combo & save $10 bring a... More

We went with some trepidation as throwing ones self down a waterfall sounded pretty scary!! As with everything in Costa Rica the safety was great and the guides really welcoming and fun. It was an exhilarating challenge and really glad we went. Definitely worth a visit if you like something a bit different from the zip wires

We booked this tour with less than 24 hours of notice and heard back within just two hours confirming our trip, now that's customer service. We were promptly picked up and taken to the finca modelo. The staff were friendly and cared greatly about our experience. Repelling was awesome, exciting, and terrifying. I'm so glad I did this tour and... More

It's really challenging to climb the tree, either method you choose. From the inside is easy: anybody can do it, as long as you fit through the hole at the top. If you intend to do all 3 ways to climb, it's best to start with the one outside close to the tree, because this is the hardest one: you... More

My wife and I were alone on this tour during low season and they treated us so well. Our guides Andy and Melvin were so friendly and got us down all the water falls. You will get soaked and see some really neat jungle waterfalls. Wear closed toed shoes and some dry fit clothes! They provide all the climbing gear... More

Our teenage daughters convinced us to go Canyoning! We rappelled down 6 waterfalls the largest being 131' and I am terrified of heights. Our 2 young guides kept me calm and were very positive and fun! We were the only ones on this excursion so was like a private tour. We felt safe at all times and we are so... More

Sharing my personal experience: There are 6 waterfalls, all are small except one that is big. I have done repelling before and the whole reason I booked this tour was for the big one. Right as we got to the big one the guide told me to wait on the side and then when my turn came he wouldn't let... More
