I went on this Night Walk, I had such an amazing time, saw lots of animals (tarantulas, vipers etc.) took lots of pictures. The tour guide was great, gave us torches and he was telling everything about the animals. Highly recommend it

We went on a night hike that began at 6:00. We saw lots of animals including two pit vipers. Michael Leiton, our tour guide from Nature tracks, was amazing at spotting animals in the dark. Great adventure for the family at a decent price.

Our hotel recommended this night tour to my friend and I and it was very good! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We were able to see a lot of birds and creatures. We saw multiple sleeping birds, two snakes, a tarantula, ants, and a kinkajou.

We did a night walk starting at ~ 18:00. The whole walk was a wonderful experience and we learned a lot of interesting facts about the different animals we saw and the forest itself. Our highlights: We spotted a Kinkajou, two (green?) vipers (a baby and an adult), a scorpion (in the waiting area next to the reception :) ),... More

This was our first outdoor adventure on our trip, and it's a different experience from the daytime ones. Our guide was excellent and very sharp-eyed when it came to seeing the various forest creatures including some very tiny or hidden ones. Our group was small and the guide gave us as detailed an overview of the area's ecology as our... More

Very pretty place to see many animals. Better with a guide or you will miss lots! A must see place if in the area.

I guess it is best to say that we had seen most of the creatures in question in daylight. However, we came here for a night-time experience. We saw only two reptiles. There seemed to be no interest looking for, or showing us, insects (which were numerous), except to torment a Tarantula by pushing a stick down its nest-hole. Too... More

Very nice to walk in. Luckily it was not too crowded when we went in. The hanging bridge was very nice. We saw decent amount of birds. But not as much as we saw in Curi Cancha.

My girlfriend and I spent two days here with a birding book and a pair of binoculars. It was rainy out both days, but we still saw tons of birds! I hope that everyone who visits is as lucky as we were with sightings. The highlight of the trip was the resplendent quetzel, emerald toucanet, and the slate throated red... More

Had a wonderful guide (Jesus), and we saw a sloth, a armadillo, tarantula, green snake, sleeping toucan, honeybadger, and many more Note - our daughter who does not like bugs, was not a fan of the hike. Highly recommend, as a must do activity while in Monteverde.
