Interesting place to visit to get a better understanding of the designer’s life. The house offers a nice garden and view over the sea. The collection exhibited is pretty narrow with many dresses designed by J. Galliano who is probably one of his best successor....More

We had not realised this museum existed until seeing it advertised in our Hotel. It is free to walk around the gardens but there is a charge for the House. Unless you are interested in Dior I would not recommend it, but for those that...More

The setting of the house and gardens is spectacular, and well worth visiting. I was however disappointed in the museum. I hoped it would be like Monets' house in Giverny, and give some insight into his life. This house I am afraid has had most...More

I suspect the rain didn't help (it was pelting down) but I found this house rather tedious. There is no doubt Christian Dior was a genius and his original dresses and gowns are just so classy. It is the trashy stuff his successors did that...More

We stumbled upon this museum with little knowledge of Christian Dior (other than the adds). The museum gave us a full appreciation of his life growing up in the glamorous times of early 1900's in this small town on a seaside in France.

We spent an hour visiting the museum. The costumes inside are very much a wow and thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of them that ranged over the eras. The museum information was all in French which was a shame - as it would have been...More

There is a constant queue outside this place because they only allow 50 people in at a time. Once in it makes sense as it is basically a large house over three floors. Very interesting though we didn't learn that much about Dior himself and...More

I saw this when i was researching the area and my friend who i was travelling with, works in Fashion, so I thought it would be good to see. Even if you don't have a keen interest in Fashion, the house & Grounds were worth...More

A few dresses in glass cases. The gardens here are the real beauty, and they are free... Teenage boys thought the house tour sucked, while girls loved it!

There is a train that goes from Paris directly to Granville it takes 3 hours or there is public transport all around La Manche so it's not difficult to get to Granville and Granville has it's own public buses that travel... More
