I have played here a number of times and loved it each time - one of the best in the area - always a great experience and one of the most beautiful courses I have ever played. Great views and always well maintained. Don't go into the rough!

There is nothing quite quite like the Buffet Breakfast at Fish River Sun!!! Yes, the hotel has had and is past its finer glory days BUT more polite, helpful staff you could not wish to meet. Although we arrived for breakfast 15 minutes after closing time, the very kind lady at the door to the dining room realised we had... More

After not having played at the Fish River Golf Course for a number of years, I returned with great anticipation, only to be terribly disappointed at the condition of the course, particularly the greens which were once like billiard tables.

I'm by no means a golf expert. I play once a year or so and enjoy the experience of the course and the banter. Fish River has been my best ever experience. Take my advice. On a good day book the last tee off around 13:30 and get a cart (for 2 carts and 3 golfers it was R850) then... More

The hotel is great, but it it obvious that this former grand hotel now caters rather for timeshare-like deals. The golf course is great and the setting amazing.

Was staying at the hotel and met up with friends for a round of golf. Great layout and in great condition. Will definitely play again given the opportunity. Pity about the wind but obviously that was nobody's fault

They are still the best by far, as urs an event, you go early and stay late ad enjoy a delightful spread of wonderful breakfast menu items, solo much to choose from and the most important factor... Is the champagne is included in the price...well worth the visit and you can book 18 holes if golf or play chess...or just... More

We aren't golfers but we did enjoy a wonderful breakfast buffet inside the main building. It was the most varied buffet we experienced in South Africa - anything you could have for breakfast was offered and the food was delicious! The price was also unbelievably low for the quality and amount and food we had.

A Gary player design, challenging and in great shape with all the rain we've been blessed with. Greens very receptive and true. Ocean vistas from some if the holes. Watch out for the old women's back, par 5 and beautiful layout over the fish river with its lovely bridge.
