Guru Nanak Gurdwara Smethwick is Europes largest and first Sikh place of worship. It's it mandatory to cover your head and remove your shoes whilst inside the Gurdwara as a sign of respect. Head coverings are provided (if required). If visiting it is essential you book via email to ensure a tour guide is available to welcome you on your visit. We hope you enjoy you visit to this landmark Gurdwara :)

The langar is so good, it’s beautiful a beautiful place for meditation or service.

Beautiful serene place to worship, friendly people. Just remember everyone welcome and take shoes off and cover your head before entering the place of worship.

Relaxing temple

This temple is a very relaxing place to pray and it's very mesmerising. I would definitely visit again. The food they serve (Langar) which is served in the Langar Hall, is delicious!! Thoroughly recommend.

Best and peaceful place to worship . Local and 10 mins walk . All welcomed without and discrimination or anything. Food( langar) served all day

Fantastic, interesting and welcoming.

We were welcomed as if we were family. The tour was informative and interesting and everyone we met said hello.
The food we were offered was delicious and most welcomed.
Thoroughly recommend.

A must visit place in Birmingham

A great place to visit in Birmingham. One can feel relaxed and calm by visiting this Sikh temple. Also they serve really delicious food in Langar Hall.

A sikh Temple , very peaceful place of worship.
Friendly atmosphere as are all sikh temples.
You can take part in self-less service i,e Open kitchen for all, you can volunteer to serve food to people.
