We had a very full three days with Toronto Fun Tours in Ottawa. As usual, Sean was an excellent tour guide. His caring attitude ensured that our every needs were met. Although the short-lived storm hit Ottawa with a vengeance on Saturday, Sean quickly made alternate plans at a moments notice. He also added other activities that were not on the planned itinerary.
The guided tour of Ottawa on Sunday included an indoor tour of the Governor General’s residence. We were delighted to spend time at Confederation Park to see the magnificent display of the tulips on the Monday.
Our only disappointment was the choice of the Marriott Hotel. We were unaware that we had to request our room to be serviced each day. Also, I would suggest that we do not choose this hotel on the same weekend that the boys and girls soccer tournament are also booked into the Marriott. We much preferred the Novotel where we stayed the last time we were in Ottawa with Toronto Fun Tours. We can’t wait to go in another tour with this company

Thank you for my first venture out after Covid.
The Grotto at the Bruce Peninsula trip was great. Sean is the perfect host/guide. He is fun, welcoming, calm but firm with being on time, professional and relaxed at the same time.
The bus driver needs credit also, what patients he needs with other drivers.
I enjoyed my hike and getting in the water...so relaxing.

My mom & I went to the Ottawa Tulip Festival and I must say that this trip brings us much closer. The weather was not in our favor for two days, so most of the Tulips are damage (which is not their fault). However, that didn’t stop us from having a good time! We still managed to find ways to maximize our time & enjoy the rest of our trip. Our tour guide Sean was very accommodating, well organized & always on top of everything. Definitely recommend and we will book future trips again with Fun Tours.

My husband and I were on the Ottawa Tulip Festival and unfortunately it rained the two of the three days we were there. The storm damaged the tulips that we got to see but definitely not as grand as the one in Lisse, Netherlands, which one should visit if they get the chance. The highlight of our trip was visiting Rideau Hall as we have never been. The hotel choice was not the best as there were a lot of kids for the soccer tournament. The tour guide Sean was very accommodating and courteous and did the best that he could under the circumstances. The people that we met were very nice

The trip to algarve long stay trip went without any problems.
The chosen apartment hotel was very nice, beautiful lush property. If you ate at the hotel the food was very good.
Front desk service was professional and efficient. Although I was annoyed about paying 10 euros for a lost key card.
Sean was very professional at all times and looked after the group by helping with different situations and was gracious when doing so.
He kept everything moving as necessary reminding all of time schedules etc.

Overall well organized, good priced.
But only 2 hrs at the blue mountain area seems too less, it was just enough sufficient for one ride and its long queue. dint get any time for anything else.
The tour manager and the overall arrangements were really good.

Dear R63437,
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. And thank you for joining us on that trip.
Yes, you are right. The lines for winter activities/rides in Blue Mountain are long during Family day weekend. That’s why this tour has been designed in a way that you can enjoy a winter activity “Guided Snowshoeing in the Metcalfe Rock forest” at peace (which was the main concept of this trip), before going to Blue Mountain Village. This way people had choices in Blue Mountain to either spend their time in shopping, dining, walking around the Mill Pond on the Blumination Dream trail //OR// doing a winter activity such as Runner Coaster, Skiing, Hike N' Tube, considering the fact that there is a long queue.
We will certainly consider your feedback and will allocate more time especially in long weekends in Blue Mountain.
Looking forward to seeing you again on our future trips :)

I went on the Pennsylvania Tour and highly recommend it for art and nature lovers. The itinerary was well planned out by the wonderful tour director Noushin. Our hiking guide Ian was exceptional, helpful and knowledgeable about all the hiking trails and the best spots for photography. The bus driver Paul kept us safe with his amazing driving skills on twisting roads. The tours of Frank Lloyd Wright houses are architectural wonders, not to be missed.

The Pennsylvania Hikes tour is very well organized with interesting sites to visit, comfortable ride and hotel accomodation, convenient stops, fun activities, and knowledgeable tour guides.
Eternal flame waterfall, Kinzua bridge, Frank Lloyd Wright architected homes, and Rock City park are a must see, historical presentations combined with nature walks. Fun Tours packed a lot of action and information in only 3 days. Highly recommend.

The Algonquin trip was such a waste of money. and time. Horribly planned and over priced for no reason.
We stopped at an on route for 45 mins. Really could've been 20 mins instead. After that we were taken to a vistitors centre with nothing to do but sit in a parking lot for 1.5 hours. To waste more time and make it a 14 hour dat trip.
When we finally got to the park for hiking, we'd hike for 2 mins and our guide would stop and talk for 20 mins. We hiked for a total of 20 mins.
On the way back, we stopped at a museum, which was really pathetic and more waste of time.
Would not recommend this trip or company to anyone.

Dear 511monicai,
I am sorry to hear that you felt that the trip to Algonquin Park on October 1st was a "horrible experience."
I make it a practice to post a detailed itinerary on all of the day trips. On this basis, people make decisions to book tours with us. Likewise, I posted a full and detailed itinerary for this tour (including timing/schedules/duration of visit in each location), and on that basis, you booked a tour with Toronto Fun Tours. The itinerary did not deviate from the tour that operated on October 1st.
Another passenger who took the same tour said that the tour was a "fun, happy, educational, exercise full, well organized time." Yet you found it to be a "horrible experience."
He added that having a Park Naturalist with us on the Lookout Trail hike "heightened our awareness" of the Park’s history, its life cycles, its opportunities, and its importance to the health of our environment. Our guide was well-prepared, learned, and humorous." Yet you found it to be a "horrible experience."
I take pride in organizing enriching and varied itineraries and travel experiences. I believe that I have done so for the tour in question and feel that your rating of one star and an assessment of the tour as a "horrible experience" is not at all a fair assessment of the trip that operated on October 1st.
We expect everyone to read the itineraries before making any booking. Moreover, the itinerary of small group tours (by vans) is different from large group tours (by buses) because of parking and safety issues.

Noushin and Ian hosted a fantastic adventure cruise in the Caribbean with a hike on each island. The Hiking Cruise! It was an awesome time. I don't usually cruise because the usual activities are boring. Fun Tours arranged for a local guide on each island to take us on a hike that the cruise lines would never know about. The guides were knowledgeable and informative. In a few cases they were ex forest service employees. I also met and hiked with others who had similar interest in hiking. The cruise portion was first rate. I would do this again in a heartbeat!
