Many prairie communities have a sculpture of their town mascot. Selkirk has a catfish- a rather unattractive fish but a cute sculpture. Along the Main Street in front of MacDonalds this makes an easy photo stop in Selkirk

He is prominently standing on Main Street in Selkrk in front of McDonalds. Easy to park and get out, read the plaque and pose for a photo.

I'm sure every fisherman will tell you he's caught one that big, don't believe them, there's only one Chuck. As city symbols go, this one's pretty cool.

Chuck is a very large replica of a catfish. It is really great for a photo op and it stands just outside of Kelly's Bar and Grill?
