While I might be biased, since I spent a lot of time growing up around racetracks in SW Ontario....I still enjoy heading to the track for some fun with friends!
It's a great spot for couples, families, friends, or even a date! It's an inexpensive way to spend a few hours.

The raceway is beautiful, they put alot of money into their raceway, even the grand stands have traughs at the bottom to collect all the cans and garbage people leave behind, their are two baseball fields in the middle of the track, their is a huge TV to display the race standings. The beer is cheap, opening day their were many prize giveaways and a silent auction, the kids can play on the skateboard park, or the older jungle gym, they built an amazing new jungle gym but unfortunetly it wasn't open for opening day. There is a community pool, and a small splash pad for the summer months. Overall it is one of the best small town raceways I've been to.

I occasionally go to the slots at Clinton Raceway...I find the machines pay well, are well maintained, the staff friendly and helpful and the facilities are clean and well maintained.
Good place to go for some fun and maybe win some money.

Clinton racetrack is one of the cleanest nicest horse tracks I've been too, even everyone at the track was dressed nice and looked well off, lol, there are ball diamonds in the middle of the track which is a great use of space, a small splash pad near by and a public pool!! The casino I havn't had much luck at but really enjoy clinton

This was a special day at the harness racing track. They honored John Campbell, a local driver who became the richest driver in the world! There were THOUSANDS of people there and everything was set up to handle the crowd well. They had parking shuttles, souvenirs, and a great BBQ chicken dinner. One of the highlights was the chance to get signatures from all the famous drivers. Everyone we talked to was friendly. What a memorable day!

My wife and I attended Clinton Raceway for the "Legends" harness racing event today. This is a typical small town race track!! A fair like atmosphere with lots to get involved with. There is a small casino on the property, slots only, with a simple but nice Cafe and Bar. You can watch and wager on the races from the Cafe. Simulcasting from other race tracks is also offered in the Cafe. Drink and food menu is limited but very enjoyable!! People are helpful and attentive. Very nice, well maintained facility!!

We love going to the races. This is a great place to bring your family. Very cheap afternoon out. They always have a lot going on besides the races. 50/50 draw, raffles, games etc.... Food and drinks are super cheap. Always a fun day.

So my gf and I went in a Sunday as a diversion during our weekend Bayview trip. This is a good guy getaway as Bayfield shopping may not be your thing. Small town track, with smaller fields and great values for food/bevs. Good local spot and although smaller in scale then most tracks I have been to, I found it charming

This is a good choice for those interested in watching horse racing while downing a refreshing beverage and placing a bet. If you can drink and bet within your limits, you can have a good time here with free parking.
