Great blueberries
Aug. 2020
Blueberries were great as usual but staff need to monitor fields more to ensure there are berries available for picking before letting people in

Blueberry picking is pleasant and relaxing
Aug. 2019
The weather was fine and cool pleasant for blueberry picking. The orchard was huge, easy to walk the paths and the blueberries were amazing (be sure to pick the dark blue, large and firm ones). We had a relaxing time at the café, eating all sorts of blueberry goodies, including coffee and ice cream. The staff welcomed the guests and explained where to go picking.
However, we had an unpleasant experience when a staff on a motorized cart shouted at my friend who was just approaching the apple orchards. We knew that part of the farm was off-limits, but the loud shout, jolted us scared. We thought there could be a better approach to warning guests. We read the etiquette on the website.
Overall, we had a nice time. The blueberries were delicious. We will surely go back next year.

Wonderful place for family outing
Aug. 2019 • Family
Upon entering the Wilmot Orchards, you see ample parking, fields of blueberries and apple trees. There is a delightful glass octagonal building which hosts Appleberries Cafe with offerings of icecream, cakes and pastries, blueberry products (jams, teas, gifts) and refreshing drinks. One could also purchase prepicked berries in the cafe.
The staff are well organized, friendly and knowledgeable. Its a professionally run operation.

Blueberry Picking is Fun for all Ages

I wait all year for blueberry picking. End of July August. Great opportunity for little ones to experience. Easy to pick the bush.
They also have homemade ice cream with fresh fruit as well as blueberry tea!
A shop on site to eat in or outside.

Great place!

A wonderful place to go blueberry picking. There is a cafe with some treats also. Choose from pick your own berries or grab some already picked. There are several blueberry baked goods, drinks, and jams to try from the cafe. Lots of parking, clean, and well organized.

First blueberries of the season
Jul. 2019 • Family
Loved our experience here, we were greeted upon arrival and staff were knowledgeable and friendly.
Neat seeing the Falcons at work.
Blueberries were easily picked (as the bushes are mid high, for someone who has any issues with bending etc)

Little cafe with goodies. Extremely clean outdoor bathroom trailer (impressive!)

Will return again soon to try yet another variety of blueberry

wonderful blueberries

I love this orchard!! When in season you can purchase blueberries already picked or you can go and pick your own. They have amazing blueberry icecream and all sorts of blueberry based desserts. A few of my friends and I have gone over just to have dessert and a cup of coffee .

OMB ( blueberries)

First time for blueberries , been living in the area for 6 years. Could t believe the size and quality of the berries. The prices for pick your own are very reasonable. The cafe has some awesome snacks and take home sauces. A must from now on every year. I also made jam from the blueberries.

Blueberry Heaven!
Aug. 2017 • Business
Wilmot Orchards have the best fresh Blueberries in all of Clarington! They are picked fresh for you to purchase or you can pick your own. You can make it a family day and bring the whole family or just head on over and pick a basket or two for yourself! Charles, Courtney and Judy are the best hosts and cater to your every blueberry whim! Judy will tell you all about the health benefits of these blueberries and Courtney will take you into the tea room and serve you the best blueberry baked goods you have ever ate. Who knows you may even get to see Star! Charles will give you great pointers on how the berry is grown in the best way possible to produce the highest yield...they are such a knowledgeable group here...I love the Jersey berry and by enough to fast me until next season and freeze them to enjoy at least a cup every day! They open in the summer and for a short period only so get there early! The Jersey berry is last to ripen so August seems to be the time for me to get them! Drop in next season, you will be glad you did!

Wow! Great Blueberries
Aug. 2017 • Couples
We've never picked blueberries before, and went to Wilmot Orchards on a recommendation from friends. If anything, they underrated it. There are fields and fields of blueberries, although not all are open at once, of course. They are well organized and have baskets you can use (buy?) if you don't bring your own. Their picking areas are well organized, too, and you are sent to rows with more than ample quantities of berries to pick.
