What a view and great place for a walk. There are so many restaurants along the boardwalk to choose from...many with outdoor terrace. Stop in at your favourite restaurant, then get an ice cream and take a walk along the canal.

Beautiful lakeshore walk for those who want to venture outside Montreal downtown. Nice spot for a picnic or a brunch on a terrace facing the river.

It's a short stroll on the boardwalk but there are tons of restaurants to choose from. Super busy on a hot Saturday night. You might want to make reservations.

If you can find parking it's a quaint village and nice to go for a walk by the canal. It was fun to see the boats go through the locks. Parking was very hard to find and we were there on a Wednesday.

Boats of all sizes line up to go through the locks at this point. You can stroll the boardwalk and there are free concerts on Wednesday nights.
