About
Offering hot air balloon flights over the beautiful Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia since 2012! During your flight you will get a spectacular bird's eye view of the beautiful Annapolis Valley and will drift silently over the countryside where you will watch for wildlife, take in breathtaking views of forests, lakes, and vineyards and talk with envious onlookers down below. We offer sunrise and sunset flights on weekends from mid-May until the end of November, weather permitting. Our basket can accommodate 4 or 5 individuals plus the pilot, based on total passenger weight. All flights end with a local champagne toast. We look forward to flying with you!

A Terrific Experience

Worth the wait, the experience was absolutely awesome especially as we were a little apprehensive being first time balloon riders but our flight couldn’t have gone any better. Seth and Katherine are great at this and you couldn’t ask for nicer or more safety conscious people. Our only word of advice for prospective passengers would be not to book a flight thinking it’s a done deal for the day of your choosing, the weather is fickle and you may end up having to reschedule several times before actually flying. Once you do go up however it is more than worth it, we highly recommend East Coast Balloon Adventures.

Our trip with East Coast Balloon Adventures was amazing. The Pilot and crew were just the best. It was a beautiful evening and from the beginning to end it was great, In the air the pilot was so informative of the surrounding and what was going on with the balloon (altitude, speed, our route how the ballon operated).

Wonderful experience floating above the valley floor in a hot air balloon

We absolutely LOVED our experience with East Coast Balloon Adventures! We were celebrating a milestone birthday for my mom. While it took some attempts to get the right weather for a flight, it was VERY MUCH worth the wait. It was a safe and joyous experience. The crew is very professional, and it is an experience like no other.

We had such an amazing time!
This was an anniversary gift to my wife.
I was very nervous to go up in the Ballon, but Seth talked me through it, and I am happy that I went through with it. Truly an incredible experience and looking forward to going again in the future!

Should have done this sooner

After years of my wife asking me to go I am again in the uncomfortable position of having to admit she was right, though after all these years you'd think I'd realize she usually is. It was a fantastic trip. From the setup to the landing it was an experience.
We took off in a hayfield at sunrise The farmers kids were so excited to see the balloon they were up at 5:30 to see us off. Over lakes, fields and forests we flew along on a beautiful sunny day. A great experience!

You wont regret this everlasting experience!

An incredible experience! I have been before with my husband in 2015, but in 2021 I told my mom I'd love to get her in the air. We planned for 2022 season, and although it took us 5-6 trys, we finally got up in the air on the last week of October and OH how beautiful it was! My mom was thrilled and it made for an amazing adventure. Thanks to Seth & Katherine for being such incredible hosts!

We did the Sunset balloon ride, it was so beautiful and peaceful, it was truly awesome to be air ballooning on such a nice evening! Seth are pilot was very knowledgeable and you felt save with him in control. If it's on your bucket list it is a must thing to do with this team!
