- Vanetta LPennsville, NJ62 contributionsWe had a great time on this ride. They need to get better organization with their ticket window but the ride itself was awesome.Written July 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travel7YYZToronto, Canada273 contributionsAn excellent place to see what the boundaries of cold climate wine production is achieving these days in the county.
Tasting portions are available for all their wines, and the waive the whole fee if you purchase.
As for the wines themselves, I’ve had previously but it was great to experience a greater variety of the hybrids growing here - along with the wines they make from Niagara fruit (Pinot Noir & Chardonnay). Of the many sampled, all were well made. Long gone are the days of “foxy” hybrid red wines, at least from this crew.
Staff were knowledgeable and most friendly. Spec sheets at the ready for any more detailed questions you might have.
Lovely setting to get some food and sit amongst the vineyards.

The resort is spacious and well laid out. It was clean and comfortable. Our king bed was fantastic. The price is a bit on the expensive side but it was the long weekend. We left the resort to go to the beach and do a 10M bike trip LOVED IT1Written July 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tproveauFonthill, Canada25 contributionsStayed at the Royal Harbour Resort right across from the marina. A lovely spot for walking with downtown nearby. Lots of trendy chops and eateries in town and the very close by town of Clarksburg.
The Royal Harbour Resort with appointed stidio and two bedroom suites has a nice pool and hot tub, as well as an exercise room. Staff are very helpful however rentals are sometimes hard to come by as many of them are timeshared units. Book plenty in advance.
The Thornbury Cidery is a great spot to visit for picking up great ciders and also a trendy place to chill with drinks and charcuterie etc.Written November 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There was live music the afternoon we stopped in, and a friendly vibe. Service was friendly and efficient. The snacks looked ok but very limited selection. Highly recommend as a fun place to stop.Written October 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tony FPalos Verdes Estates, CA5 contributionsFascinating fish ladders and beautiful trails around the Fishway and bridge.
Enjoy the soothing sound of flowing stream, and watch fishermen patiently trying and waiting for their catch.
Peak spawning seasons are spring and fall, with trout and salmon.

We came of course though to try the wines. Oddly, and annoyingly, for a winery they offer no tastings. So if you want to try their offerings, you need to spend $25-$30 for a flight of four wines. Not conducive if you want to try several, and not at all friendly for anyone driving and actually wanting to try the wines. (You get $5 off a purchase, but still wildly unrealistic.)
So we were forced to purchase all these glasses, most of which were dumped. Not a great way to market yourselves.
On the plus side, very knowledgeable and friendly staff (or at least the person who served us).
Of the wines we had, well-made.
Just a pity they’re not more encouraging to try (and therefore possibly buy) their products!Written August 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When in Callingwood area, stopping at the Thornbury Antique Market is a must.
Christine & Mick Mould, the owners, are very pleasant.
I like the fact that there are many dealers under one roof. The booths are clean and tidy. I always come with an open mind and & am never disappointed.
This time I purchased two antique glasses which were exactly what I was looking for and the price was great.
Take note that they are open Wednesday to Sunday 1030 to 5 PM.
