- Joel PEl Quisco, Chile27 contributionsThis is a wonderful beach, relatively vlean, easy parking (paid in summer season), and the walk out to the point on the south side of the protected bay is easy and the point itself is spectacular, especially when there are big waves. There are a few simple restaurants near the beach.Written April 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joel PEl Quisco, Chile27 contributionsThis is a very long beach, immediately South of downtown El Quisco. Parking is immediately adjacent to and all along the beach. At the south end there is a fisherman's pier, and just beyond that is a full service seafood restaurant, which in my experience is pretty good. The beach is kept moderately clean. In the summer, it can get pretty crowded, especially at the South end. At the North end, along the paved road that continues next to the water, there is a lovely bar and restaurant, with a Greek theme.Written April 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carla Q19 contributionsAfter a day of walking I would like to recommend a place to eat, Its name is "El Rincón Playero" . Even though It is a small place is perfect to enjoy a good meal or dinner at night. Is not that expensive, we ate pizza and it was delicious. The atmosphere was good, quiet and the day I visited that place, there was a small exhibition. It was very nice.Written November 15, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - midwaytoheavenMidway, UT3,017 contributionsThis church in El Toral is about a 1.5 hour drive from San Antonio. We came as a group on a Princess Cruise excursion. The church was built in 1815 and still stands here after all these years. The cemetery is located next door that was built in 1820.
BOTTOM LINE: For us it was like walking back into history here. I imagine that very little has changed here in the past 200 years. We really enjoyed the simpleness of this old church. A statue of a Mary as a little girl with a crown is located behind the the alter. Across the street are several small restaurants and stall shops. Cool place to visit.
