- Glück C3 contributionsBeach is very nice and not crowded.
The beach bar had 2 waiters during the day, in of them is very welcoming, the other is bored.
Don’t go get pizza/bbq from the bar as you might get the pizza guy upset. We only dared to ask for the menu and he was very very unpleasant.Written August 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - globtrotteuseFrance164,994 contributionsNice pebble beach famous for being place of Mamma Mia II shooting. Best to access it by boat.
Reacheable from Komiza after 1.5 hour walk.

It’s a bit tricky to find it and get down to the stony beach, where the water is crystal clear. Once I got there, there were only a few other people on a July afternoon. I could enjoy the sun in my birthday suit and get tanned all over. You have to bring your own drinks and food, as there’s no service or other facility. I will return!Written July 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- globtrotteuseFrance164,994 contributionsThe lofty silhouette of this Venetian stronghold (1592), built on the quay, is dominated by a clock tower, whose construction was mainly financed by donations from the fishing community. The museum it houses is devoted to local fishing techniques and traditions, the history of canning factories (there were up to seven in the 19C) and shipbuilding. It also provides an opportunity to see a falkusa, an ingenious traditional fishing boat with removable sides

The other waiter looks very bored and regarding the pizza guy, I will not even comment (he didn’t even speak to us). Pizza/BBQ menu is very limited and not even cheap, so I would recommend going there with a full belly. Other than that, the beach is nice and not very crowded.Written August 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - globtrotteuseFrance164,994 contributionsHistoric place. During World War II, Marshal Broz Tito hid in this cave. It is quite well hidden on a hill with several tens of meters. A rare place. They will come to countless stairs. It is worth stopping here on the way to Hum hill and Crkva sv. Duha. Pleasant view of the surrounding hills and the Adriatic.Written January 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zoe H7 contributionsWhere do I start with Perna Beach.
To the reviews calling the walk from Komiza to Perna beach as ‘a step away from Komiza’ and ‘a simple well defined path’. If by step away you mean 20,000 steps on a perilous trail that experienced mountaineers would squirm at. And by well defined path you mean trekking through the overgrowth like Indiana Jones. Then yes I would agree.
This would have been ok if Perna Beach was actually worth visiting, but the truth is… if you want to lay on a rubbish littered beach covered in some non-descript dead plant debris then be my guest.
The worst thing about this beach is that after you’ve clawed and hacked your way through the thick overgrowth and swarms of hellbent wasps all you want to do is cool off in the crystal clear waters. However, once you arrive you will realise that this is only possible if you don’t mind the prospect of being stung by a thousand jellyfish.
After all this, you will have to begrudgingly cut your losses and go back to Komiza, after you realise you have just spent hours trekking through the wilderness to visit what can only be described as the worst beach on Vis Island.
