Kyoto Obubu Tea Farms
#1 of 17 Sights & Landmarks in Wazuka-cho
We visited a few sites up on the hillside, learned about the different stages and approaches of growth, and had great views down into the valley.
Mr. Matsumoto, the green attire that made him a ninja tea person, took us to a remote location to view the beautiful Wazuka region.

The views were astounding, the hike was refreshing, and the tea was delicious.
Also, there were great views of the area!

Incredible sights, peaceful area, tranquil, and free to explore
... homes, and cafes along the way to the town of Wazuka. There are several routes away from the main road that you can take that will zig zag through the area and offer you many views of tea fields and rice paddies.

It was lovely.. enjoyed walking through all the deer to get to the great buddha hall and gardens.. nice complex, cute deer , nice shopping and great sights, what more could you want.
This giant Buddha is Japan's largest and is really a sight to see! Make sure to see the Buddha from all angles, especially the side view as you can really appreciate the massive size by getting a little closer to it.
