Big thanks to museum staff and lovely lady at the desk (Hebrew teacher) for this place, both interesting for adults and kids… interactives & humor and great artefacts of ancient culture

If you like shopping you will love this mall.
We visited from a cruise ship as a excursion to find a very modern trendy mall with a large number trendy fashion shops.

    • The landmark of southern Ashdod
    • Large and prominent
    • Use your imagination to decide what it is
    • Colorful stunning appearance at night
    • Conversation piece for a date
    • Biggest traffic circle in Israel
    • Surrounded by manicured flowers

    CONS
    • Ridiculous
    • Confusing
    • “What is it?”
    • Dangerous traffic circle to cross
    • Almost no access to approach it
    • Next to.bad hotel

    MY EXPERIENCE
“I visited this place” because I wanted to do that. I had been at the beach.

    It is an interesting experience.

I was able to cross the massive traffic circle twice and to maintain my health and bodily integrity (no small accomplishment).

I found a break in the floral display encircling this monument and approached it and explored it and analyzed it from zero distance and touched it- please see and “find helpful” my numerous photos.

    TIPS
    • it is worth seeing for a moment if you are in the area
    • it is not worth going out of your way to see it
    • It is not wirth crossing the treacherous intersection and traipsing across the lawn to “get up close and personal” with it, unless you want to be able to proclaim “I visited this place.”

    FINAL ANALYSIS
It could very well be a space craft from outer space that crashed here in prehistoric times.

This was a really nice area, you can tell that they try very hard to keep everything clean and there is good attention to detail with lots of little statues and figurines around the park. There is a nice pond with fountain, a couple of cafes and a point you can look towards the beaches/sea

With so many miles of coast line in Israel there is no shortage of beaches, but Ashdod has a very wide beach with calm clear water.

There are very few attractions on this beach. There are no restaurants on the beach, No big screens for soccer games, no Hukah bars, just sand and surf and life guard towers.

WC facilities are clean and showers to wash the sand function well.

The beach was almost empty but there was trash floating in the water and some trash on the sand even with trash cans every 100 meters, some people are just pigs.

There is also a huge playground near the parking lot. Lots of fun even for the big kids.

Some nice park on Ashdod beach, near fort. In the round some tables for picnic, also you can do some walking route. It's 2 options. The long one is on the beach and the short one circle one. Every route about 1 hour. Citadel is beauty and worth a visit too.

The beach is vast and the access is quite easy, as there are parking places (free of charge) with easy access from Sderot Moshe Dayan (the road alongside the sea shore). It is not bad place to enjoy the sea and sun, however I have been to many beaches where the sand is more yellow ...

Etgarim is open during the summer months.
It has attractions for children of different ages and lots of kneading for picnic or birthday party.
There are bumper cars, a petting zoo, trampoline, inflatables and play area for small children.
And of course there is a good pool but a little cold water
Some places look very old and require replacement Nevertheless, it is still likely to try and make a decision whether to go there again.
