It was a last minute decision visiting this winery, but it was one of the best decisions, it was a very nice, peaceful and tasty afternoon, in the middle of the the olive trees, with very good wines and so nice atmosphere…you can go there by yourself, asking a wine tasting or just drinking a glass of wine wine. Not far from Chania and few steps from Platanias, Agia Marina, Kolymvari and Kissamos. Love it!

A short walk from town. This cool tranquil Monastery is a peaceful relaxing place with plenty of information on its history along with a great collection of religious art and artifacts.

We stayed 10 days at the academy for a workshop. The location is perfect, with the beach and town within walking distance. The rooms are simple but good, and ours was spacious.
The kitchen is fabulous and has nothing to envy to a restaurant - while the options weren't too many, they were all delicious and included GF, plant based and vegetarian.
The facilities has a laundry room which you can use, includes washing powder and iron. If you like to be pampered this is probably not your place, but if you are looking for a quiet experience and are on the self sufficient side this place is highly recommended. For us the only drawback was that our AC unit did not work very well, but the staff was always willing to help out and made us feel at home during our stay.

We were staying at the nearby Grand Bay hotel and decided to walk to the memorial. It was approximately 2 miles each way with a steep climb to the top. This was totally worth it for the views and to appreciate the brave young men who fought to defend their island.

Great spot for a relaxed beach day. It's an expansive pebble beach with plenty of space and sunbeds. Never gets too busy. There are lots of restaurants along the boulevards which have their own sets of sunbeds, and you can order a drink instead of paying to rent the chairs. The sea is calm and clear, great for swimming.

If you’ve ever wondered how the olive fruit become the elixir know as EVOO, this is the tour for you. Katerina is very knowledgeable about all of the steps along the production of olive oil. Interesting to taste EVOO like one tastes wine!

Panos is the best dive instructor I have had so far. As a rather inexperienced diver (7 dives in total before this one) and a bit of a nervous person in general, but with a love for exploring the ocean, it was great to dive with Panos. It was all about having a good experience, and he was calm and reassuring all the way and gave some great tips on how to build my skills and my calm for future dives. Not much life in the Mediterranean compared to the Indian Ocean, but I would still come back to dive with Panos whenever I get the chance. I loved his approach to diving and how he pointed out the beautiful and interesting details during the dives. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with Panos for the day too. A nice touch was the pictures that he took and sent to me after the dive.

Amazing trip. The folks at the resort offered 8 and 4 hour cruises. For my mother and I, this shorter trip was perfect. We went in the morning, and for us that was perfect.

Wear your swim suit. Bring a lunch. I wish I didn’t wear glasses so I could have snorkeled. But it was great even without going under water.

There were a few older kids (maybe 8 and up) on our trip, and they all seemed to have fun. This is definitely for you if you like swimming.

I wish I could have learned a little more about the history and geology. It was our guide’s first day, so maybe other trips get more information. She did answer all of our questions.

The captain was knowledgeable (and cute, for bonus points), and we felt safe and comfortable for the entire trip.

    Overall, I highly recommend!
