- ExhaustedTvlrVancouver, Canada114 contributionsIt was an interesting visit with very pretty buildings and totem poles. A nice place to enjoy a picnic in the sunshine and a leg stretchWritten August 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RoyVickersHazelton, Canada69 contributionsSeeley Lake is a beautiful campground near Hazelton, B.C. This park lies at the foot of the great mountain locals call Stegyawden otherwise known as Roche De Boule on the maps. A good swimming lake and excellent government campground on highway 16.Written February 17, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TrevorS927Houston, Canada33 contributionsThis park has geography that is visually a little different from the surrounding area. Gravel access road can be a bit rough. Brown Bear lake is a long narrow lake that is quite sheltered and easy paddling. The portage from Brown Bear Lake to Swan Lake is a steep climb up and down so it is a bit challenging but it's worth it. Swan Lake is a sprawling lake with points and islands and has a great view of the mountains. I've done this with two young kids and had a great time.
If you are a canoe adventurer then this should be on your list.Written December 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The tour was marketed as a Grizzly White water experience and we were not let down. We were on the Babine River for 4 days and we counted 20 sitings. At Grizzly drop there were bears catching salmon and what a site to behold. The river changed from narrow tight canyons to wide open to huge drops making a complete rafting adventure. Babine River is wild but only up to Class 3 rapids making it navigable for rafts and kayaks. Great camping on gravel bars.Written August 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Karl HSissach, Switzerland5 contributionsNot easily found entrance. Often lonely and quiet place, sometimes with a row of anglers on the shores. Impressive long and wide perspectives anlong the rivers. Calm down, relax, breathe freely and open up in the wide, pebbely, green landscape with the mighty and dynamic waters.Written February 22, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Teresa HTexada Island, Canada6,341 contributionsToo bad this was closed on Mondays. It is attached to the Musuem and lovely historical grounds with the old steamship Hazelton. Well worth the drive off the Hwy 16 to see the outside.Written August 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
