- LandogLa Center, WA797 contributionsSmall surf at this beach or at the time of our visit. Only a few people out surfing. Life guards were present and kept people where they needed to be for safety. This is a big wide open beach with lots of space to spread out and not be on top of other people. Not a lot of shade as there is at many other nearby beaches. Bringing an umbrella or canopy would be an option for helping get out of the direct sunlight.Written January 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SimredstarBristol, UK33 contributionsI've never seen such a well kept, clean and stocked general store. Good for people following alternative diets (vegan, gluten free, organic... ). Top marks to the owners.Written March 25, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KovertonKamloops, Canada597 contributionsThis was a lovely walk recommended to us by our hotel, but we were somewhat disappointed to discover we couldn’t go out to the lookout due to construction. The ladies at the donation desk didn’t say anything even when we indicated we weren’t looking to go any further than that. We were unaware & unprepared to do the 1.5 hour trip beyond that. The 5-10 min walk to the viewpoint was all we had in mind.
I was happy to see that the donations were being used to improve the space for future visitors, but construction materials everywhere and blocked off trails dampened the experience a bit.
The rocks on the beach below were very sharp- sturdy footwear recommended. Enjoy!Written April 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I felt so much attention and care in every stroke and touch that she did. This is quite remarkable, as for most masseuses it becomes an autopilot habit.
It was a perfect balance of getting through deeper stress layers (pain) en body relaxation!
My first reaction when I walked out of the room: “this was heavenly”Written October 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrea R8 contributionsI rode the private tour for 1.5 hours today in beautiful weather. My horse Teddy, a quarter horse, was very sure-footed and very relaxed. You could completely concentrate on nature and enjoy the ride. It was beautiful. Jimmy, the guide, showed me sloths, birds and iguanas that he had spotted.
It was really wonderful and I can only recommend Caribe Horse.Written December 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They brought the spa beds and the massage was good. She asked about areas to focus and adjusted the strength of the massage perfectly. Everything was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the sounds of waves in the background and all that you would expect. Well done!Written February 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
