- chrissieb94Dorset, UK2,098 contributionsMy view of the Great Belt Bridge, which links the Danish islands of Zealand and Funen, was different to that of many others. I got up just after dawn as my cruise ship sailed underneath. It was quite a different perspective and was certainly well worth the early start! The sheer size and length was amazing!Written August 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Daniel J. FriisKoege, Denmark11 contributionsThe view from the hill near the church is magnificent and definately worth a look. Being the highest placed spot in the visible frontier, you do, on days with a clear weather, have a distant outsight of a green, beautiful part of Denmark.Written April 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christin HKoege, Denmark126 contributionsThe museum is situated in an historical building in the port area: it is located on the first floor, but there is a handicap-lift. The exhibition concentrates on the era when the crossing across the Great Belt was made by ferry. There are nuerous maritime exhibits, a hairdresser's salon, a dentist's clinic and numerous everyday scenes. Staffed by enthusiastic volunteers, the museum is well worth a visit.Written October 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Safari518186129881 contributionVisited with my Son to see the movie Venom. While the theatre is small (quaint) it offers all the amenities one would expect. The screen was clear, good sound effects, the seats comfortable, popcorn fresh and delicious and the service was terrific. Our Son is now part of the movie club. Keep up the good work and thank you for being so close to home (Korsør).Written November 25, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christin HKoege, Denmark126 contributionsHidden below the bridge across the Great Belt, this museum is small and easy to miss. The displays illustrate the difficulties encountered in crossing the Belt during the ice winters of the last century. The descriptions are in Danish, but many of the photographs are self-explanatory. Worth a short visit - entrance is free.Written October 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
