Lovely formal Italian style garden set on various levels with many fountains. Very impressive. Set in parkland. Many steps.

This fountain is really beatiful. it is incorporated in the gardens of Villa Lante. It is right at the entrance of the Vila Lante gardens, so you cannot visit Villa Lante without seeing this fountain. Villa Lante and Fontana del Pegaso are well worth a visit.

The Piazza is quaint with Churches, shops, a restaurant, a bar and parking in the center.
It is a busy traffic road thru town. It has a bus stop. In one building you will finds the walls painted in modern frescoes.

This small church on Piazza XX Settembre holds a huge significance to this ancient agricultural village of Bagnaia, just four kilometres from Viterbo. I have read it is named after Saint Antonio Abate considered to be a protector of animals and livestock agricultural origins, once a year in January celebration is held, a huge bonfire is constructed and lit in the piazza. I briefly visited the church while waiting for a local bus to arrive, it had been tenderly looked after.
