There are obviously areas of hardship that locals cope with daily. Salsa dancing with great tuition before the best Mojitos!! Cino Santidos and Jibaro , are just two of many great restaurants to enjoy locally. A colonial Tour, Art Tour and Revolution Tour were full of amazing details with expert knowledge. It is a wonderful experience to enjoy an afternoon in an open top vintage car here in Havana. - Alfred F10 contributionsMy 8th return trip to Playa Pesquero Resort, Holguin Cuba and I was not disappointed. The food selection is improving, and adequate for Cuba. I was very happy with the room in the location I requested. I enjoyed the musicians roaming the resort, and the musicians in the lobby. I wish there were more theatre productions like before Covid, the beautiful stage is under used. The pool and beaches are the best. All the employees are friendly and happy to help, serve your needs, and help in any way you request. Be warned there is a single supplement in place since Nov. 1, if you are travelling with friends or family, which I don't understand why, since there was only 400 people here? At night time the Malecon is buzzing with people from Habana sipping rum, talking and having a good time. You meet former boxers, musicians and many other interesting people with everyone having a story to tell. Bright color tiled shapes and forms make quite a lively stroll through a portion of a Havana Neighborhood. We used Nelson from Strawberry or Isla tours as our guide and would highly recommmend him and Isla tours.
Do go get photos of the cathedral it’s mighty impressive

Gorgeous white sand beaches you can walk for hours. I was relaxing on my floatie when a stingray swam beneath me. Snorkelled for 2 minutes before finding a starfish.
The restaurant boasts great off the resort meals for cheap. We ate 3 meals + alcoholic drinks for $30 CAN.
