What travellers are saying
- RudySzymonChicago, IL1,598 contributionsThis is a very high waterfall comparing to other ones. The hike is about an hour+ each way. Next to the viewing area there is a little path going to the lower pool of the waterfall.Written January 25, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FlintyDerbyDerby27 contributionsWhen you get there and find it - it is great. However it is not that easy. Be warned. If you go in a taxi (as we did) it is a fairly long, very difficult walk along an extremely rocky beach.
The taxi will drop you off at a very nice area (small fee) with a bar and sunbeds but the bubbles are way up the beach. Where the buoys are.
I would recommend you go via boat. Much easier.
Snorkelling is not much better than anywhere else but the bubbles are worth seeing.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The place is different from the average typical Caribbean beach as it as a dark sand beach, thus the sun doesn't reflect how clear the water is.
A relaxed environment with local and tourists sun bathing.
Prices are reasonable and there are many huts selling local food, fruit juices, beers, Rhum and even locally grown organic weed! Reggae music all over. Local Rastas selling their art. Friendly people. Relaxed atmosphere.Written February 24, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He's patient, entertaining, knowledgeable, safe, and fun. He knows the landscape, the history, the ecology, and many secret sites and activities that anyone hiking solo would miss.
We are very experienced hikers, and we would enthusiasticly recommend Chadi's guiding services. More than worth it!

- travelsafer7,154 contributionsOur tour guide stopped here saying that it's the best viewpoint spot outside Roseau to take photos of the city. He definitely was right. The view is great and he said we would stay here for 15 minutes which was enough for a few pictures, read the sign explaining the historical importance of this place and look for souvenirs sellers. Bring a zoom camera or binoculars.Written May 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- David MFlorence, Italy196 contributionsWe did only short sections but it's worth entirely, if you have time and energy. It runs along the coast and in the deep forest inside, The sceneries could change but are always suggestive. We enjoied the stretch in Syndacat where we saw a parrot flying.Written May 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David SMiddlesbrough, UK2,407 contributionsLocated along the road and just in front of the cruise port, my wife and I enjoyed our stroll around the area. There are lots of market stalls, all selling similar stuff in truth, and much of which is targeted at the passing tourists.Written March 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - journalmytripsGeorgia740 contributionsThis is a small museum with a concentration on the history of this island. The exhibits are well done especially explaining the Caribbean and Atlantic tectonic plates. It is located very near where cruise ships dock. The museum is on the second floor of the building. It is not handicapped friendly as I did not see an elevator. A visit would be complete in about 30 minutes provided you read some of the information.Written March 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David SMiddlesbrough, UK2,407 contributionsMy wife and I had an opportunity to view this interesting building while in the area and appreciated the visit.
